The front of the property has spectacular sea views across the dunes, beach and River Aln estuary. This is a proper waterside location not a short walk away, but right there opposite the sand.

Alnmouth is a well-loved coastal resort with independent shops, cafes, pubs and restaurants all within the village. The beach is on your doorstep for morning walks. The patio is a genuine suntrap perfect for watching sunsets over the estuary with swallows overhead.

The maisonette sleeps eight across four bedrooms. The master bedroom on the top floor has a king-size bed with an en-suite shower and WC. There's a twin bedroom on the top floor configurable as a super-king. A double bedroom sits between floors. The first floor has a small twin convertible to a double. Two bathrooms serve the property. Please note: there is no hot tub at this property.

Alnwick Castle (15 miles, 25 minutes) featured in Harry Potter and Downton Abbey. Alnwick Garden is right alongside it. Craster harbour and Newton by the Sea are both around 20 minutes by car with a stunning coastal walk via Dunstanburgh Castle connecting them.

Riverside Alnmouth suits families and dog owners well two well-behaved dogs are welcome. With beach access, a wood-burning stove and sea views from every front window, this is a genuinely special Northumberland base.
