Cornflower Cottage Newton By The Sea is a three-bedroom cottage on a working farm, sitting right behind the sand dunes on the Northumberland coast. You are literally a few metres from one of the best beaches in the north of England. The beach is just a short stroll across the dunes. Birds wander freely around the farm grounds making it a genuinely special place to stay.

Newton-by-the-Sea is a quiet coastal village with two pub/restaurants one with its own micro-brewery. There's a freshwater nature reserve nearby. Walk to Beadnell Bay for rock pooling and water sports. Dark skies make stargazing here exceptional.

The cottage sleeps six across three bedrooms: two doubles and one spacious twin, all with wardrobes and drawers. The open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner has a vaulted ceiling and exposed beams. The kitchen has an electric oven, gas hob, dishwasher and washer/dryer. One double bedroom is downstairs. The bathroom has a P-shaped bath with shower over.

Seahouses, Bamburgh Castle, Craster and Alnwick are all within easy driving distance. A raised decked balcony with table and chairs is perfect for alfresco dining. There's a shared children's play area with swings, slide and climbing frame.
