Harebell Lodge 2 is a well-appointed two-bedroom lodge in Newton-by-the-Sea on the Northumberland coast. One of nine lodges on site all available to rent together for large family gatherings it sits within easy reach of the beach with views across the surrounding countryside from the wall-to-wall windows in the lounge. The south-west facing deck is a genuine sun trap on summer afternoons.

Newton-by-the-Sea sits between Beadnell and Embleton Bay. Walk to the village pub which has its own micro-brewery or follow the coastal path south past Dunstanburgh Castle ruins to Craster. Seahouses, Bamburgh and Alnwick are all within driving distance.

About Harebell Lodge 2

Harebell Lodge 2 is a well-appointed two-bedroom lodge in Newton-by-the-Sea on the Northumberland coast. One of nine lodges on site all available to rent together for large family gatherings it sits within easy reach of the beach with views across the surrounding countryside from the wall-to-wall windows in the lounge. The south-west facing deck is a genuine sun trap on summer afternoons.

Newton-by-the-Sea sits between Beadnell and Embleton Bay. Walk to the village pub which has its own micro-brewery or follow the coastal path south past Dunstanburgh Castle ruins to Craster. Seahouses, Bamburgh and Alnwick are all within driving distance. Boat trips to the Farne Islands depart from Seahouses.

The lodge sleeps four across two first-floor bedrooms: one double and one twin. Both have dual windows and countryside views. There is one shower room plus a separate ground-floor WC. The open-plan kitchen-lounge-diner has a dishwasher, washer-dryer and Smart TV. Please note: no hot tub at this property.

Dunstanburgh Castle (3 miles), Bamburgh Castle (12 miles), Alnwick Castle (10 miles) and the Farne Islands boat trips from Seahouses (6 miles) are the standout days out nearby.

Harebell Lodge 2 suits families and couples who want direct beach and coastal path access without sacrificing a comfortable, well-equipped base. Two dogs welcome.

There is a shared enclosed children's play area on site with swings, a slide and a climbing frame. The beach is within easy reach for rock pooling and open-air play. The coastal paths, Dunstanburgh Castle ruins and Farne Islands boat trips from Seahouses (6 miles) all make excellent family days out.
For Couples
The south-west facing private deck catches afternoon and evening sun ideal for sunset drinks. Walk the coastal path to Craster for a quiet lunch. The lodge is well-equipped for self-catering with a contemporary kitchen and two sofas in front of a Smart TV. No hot tub but the location more than compensates.
Pet Friendly
Up to two dogs are welcome at Harebell Lodge 2. The coastal paths start virtually at the door with miles of walking towards Craster and Beadnell Bay. The beach is within easy reach. Newton-by-the-Sea is a small quiet village well suited to dogs of all sizes.
