Hideaway Cottage is a semi-detached former fisherman's cottage sitting just off the main harbour road in Craster, Northumberland. It sleeps six across three bedrooms and comes packed with original period features think exposed stone walls, beamed ceilings and brick fireplaces. It's right in the heart of the village yet away from the daily foot traffic.
Craster is a working fishing village on the Northumberland coast. You can walk straight to the harbour, head out on a sea-fishing trip or follow the coast path to Dunstanburgh Castle. A local pub and café are both a short walk away.

The cottage has one double bedroom with harbour views and two twin rooms. There's a family bathroom with shower over the bath plus a separate shower room. The lounge has a wood burner. The kitchen has a ceramic hob, electric oven, dishwasher and microwave. A separate dining room and utility room with WC complete the layout.
Dunstanburgh Castle ruins are just 1 mile away (20-min walk). Howick Hall Gardens and Arboretum is 3 miles away (8 mins). Alnwick Castle and its award-winning gardens are 7 miles away (15 mins). Seahouses and the Farne Islands boat trips are around 8 miles north (18 mins).
Hideaway Cottage suits families and groups of six who want a proper base on the Northumberland coast. One well-behaved pet is welcome. The built-in brick BBQ with sea views seals the deal.
