Rose Cottage Reviews

Lovely accommodation, spacious rooms and lots of natural light. Well equipped. The air fryer is a good addition and we appreciated being able to charge the car. Great location so quiet and peaceful. Lots of places within easy reach. Another bathmat would be useful. We had to use the dryer on several days because it had got so wet. The bins are confusing as there is no black bin for general waste even though the notes say there is. Freezer door very stiff and difficult to open. Gutter leaking outside sitting room and 1st bedroom on the left.
Very spacious and modern. Good base for exploring the Northumberland coast. Everywhere was very busy however. Local pub..50 yards away is very good. Excellent beer ! Recently taken over . Looks nothing from the village side but huge garden and play area at the rear. Shower was blocked but I reported it and it was cleared. Prefer an enclosed shower as floor and tiles get wet and dangerously slippy. Couldnt find a hair dryer so take your own.
Lovely property, really modern and spacious. Perfect for our getaway with the grandparents and two young children. Enclosed garden was wonderful too for the kids, if the weather had been better in sure we would have used it more!

We stayed at rose cottage the new year week , on arrival first impressions , beautiful gardens to the front of the property a long driveway that would easily fit 4 cars , inside was another level the owner has thought about everything, the property was so clean , bright , very well equipped with everything needed , the beds was very comfortable , bedrooms spacious we could not find a fault at all with this beautiful property and we will be back again maybe in the summer months , we had a little issue with the electric gate but this was sorted straight away We would 100 recommend this beautiful property
It exceeded our expectations, was very spacious and comfortable but we didnt like the bed. Some of the technology defeated us at first and manuals would have been useful, but we got used to it and began to appreciate it. The location is good, bus stop and the pub being only 50 meters away and also close to the start of the coastal walks.

Rose Cottage is quite simply outstanding and in a super location for visiting Northumberland we had a wonderful week a superb property.

What a beautiful bungalow and gardens. It was so homely and newly renovated. The gardens were matured and private and extremely well maintained. Rose cottage is in a lovely little village in Dunstan but also close to Craster and the rest of the beautiful Northumberland coast. It was so relaxing a week was not long enough. We have been very fortunate to have stayed in some lovely holiday homes via Sykes. Rose cottage is definitely up there for us to return to in the future. Highly recommend to others you will not be disappointed.
Rose Cottage is a lovely house in a lovely location. Spotlessly clean and very well equipped. Its spacious and everything works, which made our stay very easy and troublefree. The village is very nice and there are stunning walks up through the village and then onto coastal path. Our stay was quiet and peaceful and would definitely recommend to others. We will not hesitate to book again. Many thanks.
