The Whinny is a stone-built countryside cottage near South Charlton, just outside Alnwick in Northumberland. The views here are genuinely exceptional from one side you can see the Cheviot Hills and from the other the Northumberland coast including Beadnell village and the Farne Islands. There is no hot tub at this property.
The cottage sits half a mile along a farm track on a working farm. Lambs appear in the fields in spring. At night there is zero artificial light so stargazing is brilliant. Public footpaths start right from the door for walking and cycling.
