The Botany Garden Cottage is a single-storey property in Christon Bank near Embleton on the Northumberland coast. It sleeps four guests across two bedrooms and has been part of the Original Cottages collection since 2022. The inglenook fireplace in the open-plan lounge is a real focal point and the wood flooring gives the space a clean, unfussy feel. Note: this property does not have a hot tub.

Northumberland's coastline is right on the doorstep. Embleton Bay, Low Newton-by-the-Sea and Beadnell Bay are all within easy reach for rock pooling, picnics and water sports. Walk to the village pub from the cottage or head out on the coastal path. The west-facing enclosed garden is perfect for evening sunsets and stargazing.

Two bedrooms sleep four. The double bedroom sits at the rear. The twin bedroom at the front has its own en-suite shower and WC. There is also a family bathroom with electric shower over the bath. The galley kitchen has an electric oven and hob, fridge/freezer, microwave, dishwasher and washing machine.

Bamburgh Castle is 9.5 miles away. Craster is just 5 miles for seafood and the Dunstanburgh Castle coastal walk. Farne Islands boat trips leave from Seahouses. Howick Hall Gardens and Arboretum is also worth a visit.

Up to two dogs are welcome. The Botany Garden Cottage suits couples, small families and dog owners who want direct access to one of England's finest coastlines.
