Whinney Moor is a stone-built cottage in Denwick near Alnwick in Northumberland. Sitting in a small farm hamlet with long views over Alnwick and the surrounding countryside this is a well-presented two-bedroom property sleeping up to four guests. It's single-storey throughout making it easy for everyone to get around.

Northumberland is one of England's most rewarding counties. Alnwick town is just 3 miles away with its Saturday market, independent shops, pubs and eateries. The Northumberland coast is easily reached with beaches at Longhoughton and Seahouses both within striking distance. There's a well-regarded pub just a couple of miles up the road too.

Inside you'll find a sitting room with a woodburning stove plus a contemporary kitchen-diner with bar seating, electric oven, hob, dishwasher and washing machine. The pretty bathroom has both a bath and walk-in shower. Bedroom one has a super-king zip/link bed convertible to twin. Bedroom two has a king-size bed with TV.

Alnwick Castle (3 miles) and Alnwick Garden (3 miles) are both on the doorstep. Bamburgh Castle is around 20 miles north. Lindisfarne is roughly 25 miles away. Farne Islands boat trips depart from Seahouses around 16 miles away.

Whinney Moor is a most comfortable cottage in an ideal location in a small farm hamlet. It is very clean , well furnished and enjoys a long view over Alnwick. The surrounding countryside is lovely and, not only Alnwick but many beautiful beaches are quite accessible . There is a splendid pub a couple of miles up the road.
