The Old Stable is a one-bedroom stone cottage in Eglingham, a quiet village in Northumberland, roughly 15 minutes from Alnwick. Built in 1706 for the Archdeacon of Lindisfarne, it retains several original features while offering a beautifully presented interior. This is a proper romantic retreat for two no hot tub, but plenty of character.
Eglingham sits within easy reach of the Northumberland coast, Cheviot Hills foothills and some of England's best stargazing under the award-winning Dark Skies. A dog-friendly pub is within walking distance. Alnwick is 15 minutes away with shops, restaurants and more.
The open-plan lounge, kitchen and dining area features a traditional wood burner, Smart TV and tasteful furnishings.
