Please,please get the driveway sorted wifi a bit random at the weekend but that is ok for where it is but would be nice to tell the visitors the password. Had to look for it on the router .nice garden comfy bed lovely stay

Lovely property, very comfortable and spacious, we enjoyed the layout and the big windows and location. We had a problem with dust allergies whilst we were there whilst the bungalow was clean to the eye, the bed and sofa frames and underneath furniture were very dusty.

Beautiful, well equipped cottage, had a great week here. Sun was shining made Embleton even more picturesque. Stunning walks from the door, highly recommend to family. P.S Greys Inn and Dunstanburgh Castle great food

We have had a lovely time at the cottage. We love this part of Northumberland it holds very special memories of happy times spent spent with loved ones. The walks are wonderful. Hope to come back.

Our week stay at Manor House was lovely We felt immediately relaxed and at home in this lovely property. We hit very lucky with the weather so took advantage of the beautiful garden which our two dogs also loved The layout of the living room and kitchen which is open plan was really nice and the kitchen had pretty much everything we needed for our weeks stay, with the lovely welcome pack provided by the hosts, a lovely touch!. Only things we couldnt find was a potato peeler and a cheese grater, just a minor point and maybe just something to check. We have rated slightly down on facilities and maintenance and comfort on a couple of things, having read reviews on the property and the drive way particularly I think the host would really benefit from changing the stonepebble driveway in the long term as its really difficult to get on the drive this is acknowledged in the listing but also on a wet day the steepness and loose stones makes this a bit of a hazard, especially to older or people who struggle with mobility issues. Also we would feel the property would benefit from a change in the main bed as it felt like it was bowing a bit in the middle and not the comfiest. Maybe consider an unslatted option? The heating system also seems to whistle a bit when on, so potentially something to look into Would just like to reinforce however that none of the above spoilt our stay and put us off visiting again. The owners should be proud of this lovely, clean, spacious and well equipped property with a beautiful south facing garden. A stones throw from lovely pubs and walks it was an ideal place for us to stay as lovers of Embleton village Thank you

We returned to Manor Cottage following our enjoyable time spent there last year. It once more provided a warm welcome after the day's exploration of this beautiful area that we appreciate so much. The wood burning stove was relaxing in the evening and our dog immediately felt at home. All the necessary facilities were provided including the conservatory and garden where we could watch the geese returning from the foreshore in late afternoon. Being close to the sea with excellent restaurants nearby is just a bonus.

We have stayed at this property on several occasions and were very pleased again with the comfort, facilities and location. No problems although the key box is a bit fiddly to operate. Otherwise excellent and we have booked again this cottage for next year. Thank you to the owners. Please note that on the website listing there is a very prominent negative comment. Did not stay at the cottage as on arrival it was dirty, too many cobwebs and spiders, woodlice and dirty fridge . Holiday was ruined as I had to find and pay for alternative accommodation for my two weeks Drive too steep needs levelling and either tarmac or concrete put down. Nosy neighbours frightened my three young grandchildren by peering over the fence. Would definitely NOT recommend.

Lovely property, beautiful garden we were lucky enough to get the weather to sit outside. As previously mentioned on other reviews we couldn't park on the driveway due to the steepness. Absolutely stunning coastline would definitely return. Craster Kippers are a must.

A good cottage. The entrance door to the main shower room needs attention as it fails to close etc. The external sliding conservatory door which is acknowledged in the directions is too complex, although it's a delightful space. More pans and a cheese grater are worth considering. And finally, the driveway would benefit from some attention in terms of foundation and levelling? Thanks Dr Jim Brogden

The Property met our expectations. The village is truly beautiful. We enjoyed the village shop and meals out were a blessing after our busy days. Our dog quickly settled in front of the log burner as we recovered in the evening. The facilities in the property were first class and made for an enjoyable holiday. The distance through the village to the beach was misleading and disappointing as with a health condition that prevents my wife walking up steep inclines the main access was not an option. Luckily we explored an access point elsewhere in the village and were able to enjoy the beautiful bay.

This property may look a little dreary from the outside, but it is a really pleasant, comfortable and attractively furnished bungalow. The back enclosed garden is a very welcome addition. My only criticism is that it is a little misleading to describe it as twobedroomed accommodation when really it can only accommodate two adults and up to four children the bunkbeds only take young ones up to age of 17. I feel that should be made clearer. We already knew this actually as we have stayed there before so we knew that inviting our adult son to use it as a base for walking some of the St. Oswald way was not an option. All that said, we had a truly lovely week. Northumberland rarely disappoints.

We have been to this cottage many times and absolutely love it. It is so comfortable and clean. We loved the new conservatory. Definitely be back again.

A great family Easter break. Lots to do or be lazy in the cottage. It felt like home from home and were impressed at how well equipped Manor Cottage was.
