Lovely comfortable, small cottage. Very well equiped and all you need for a stay. Great location for visiting the various castles and sites on the coast and beach walks. Plenty of good restaurants and pubs in easy reach, even a pub up the road.

Alnside Cottage was a wonderful place to stay. Comfortable and homely. It is in the perfect position to visit anywhere in Northumberland.

The cottage was extremely clean, tastefully decorated and very well equipped and we had a really good time exploring the grand houses, castles and coastal villages. However it was not on the coast itself as we had presumed from the address.

Could do with darker blinds and curtains in bedrooms letting in to much light. . Also the floor as you go in to the room from the kitchen is very bouncy loose. Otherwise an excellent cottage and a great stay

Weve stayed a few times before and find the cottage a good base to stay to explore all our favourite areas of Northumberland. Clean and comfortable, although a table lamp in the room would be a good addition

Beautiful cottage in a great location for exploring local area. Would definitely recommend it to anyone considering visiting the area. Only a short drive to Alnmouth where there are local shops, restaurants & pubs and Alnwick is less than 10 minutes drive away where there is a good selection of supermarkets, independent shops, tea rooms, pubs and for the Harry Potter fans there is Alnwick castle & gardens well worth a visit.

The cottage exceeded our expectations. We arrived to a warm , welcoming cosy cottage just want you need after a long journey. The cottage is ideally positioned you can walk to the beach in alnmouth a good walk and you are 10 minutes in the car to a great selection of food shops .You also have easy access to the coastal route. The kitchen is well equipped and the lounge comfortable. A great find !!
