Perfect accommodation for us quiet, well equipped, perfect views surrounded by nature and easy access by car and on foot. Would make a great base for cycling. Shop in next village and 2 pubs, coast and kippers in walking distance.

Amazing property very clean and all crockery and equipment like new the high chair and cot was also like new. The views were amazing lots of walks nearby too from the house we spoke to the owners who live next door who were lovely and helpful with local information. We will defiantly be booking again and would highly recommend. The only 1 small negative is the bedroom curtains were very thin so sun beaming in at 5am could do with blackout or thicker curtains.. Overall an amazing week in northumberland amazing place and amazing beaches nearby.
The cottage is perfect for walkers and a good location for getting out and about. It is very spacious and clean with good amenities, would of like a bed sheet instead of the very warm duvet as it was very warm and difficult to sleep. We will be back hopefully next year to carry on with the walks and watch all the wild life around the cottage,we also need to do the serenity boat trip again that was amazing. Would recommend the cottage to anyone we had a great holiday, thank you for the welcome pack really a nice touch
Excellent house in a nice quiet setting. Great outdoor space with countryside views. Interior was modern and spacious with good bedroom sizes. Owners live next door and were very helpful. Good walking area, many direct from the house. Local pubrestaurant in walking distance and a farm shop about two miles away. Hopefully we will return

Well located for walking, local pub in the village does good honest food but the kitchen is very well equipped if you want to cater for yourself. The cottage was an ideal resting spot despite all that Northumberlands weather could throw at us

Murdoch and Jemma were brilliant hosts ,living next door is handy for any queries . The accommodation was spotless and everything was at hand . The location is ideal for visiting the coast and all the villages with Alnwick really accessible for everything else . Coco and Quackers were a pleasant distraction and the wildlife in the surrounding area was a joy. We would love to return to this perfect location .
Great property would definitely recommend. In our top 5 of properties weve stayed in. Owners are very friendly and helpful. Good location for the Northumberland coast and only 15 mins from Alnwick where you can do all your shopping. The house is modern and spotless with everything you need. Couldnt fault it. There are some good walks from the house. We had a very relaxing time there.

A truly lovely property. The cottage was nicely furnished and extremely well equipped with everything needed for self catering. The welcome basket and bottle of wine were much appreciated. The full width bifold doors were amazing and we enjoyed watching the local wildlife each evening. All in all a thoroughly enjoyable holiday and would definitely recommend this property.
We were warmly welcomed by the owners on our arrival and the very generous welcome basket of goodies was much appreciated. We really enjoyed our stay in this wonderful cottage which is very comfortable and so well equipped with everything and more that you could need. There were ample kitchen utensils and the appliances were easy to use. The Information File was very helpful with clear instructions and useful local information. The location is ideal peaceful and relaxing with wonderful views. It was so nice to be able to walk into Craster and then further up to Dunstanburgh Castle worth visiting. It is a very good base for sightseeing in the area. The owners have taken a lot of care and consideration in providing a lovely holiday cottage and we highly recommend it.
Great place to stay, really quiet with beautiful views across open fields. Plenty of walks in all directions from the door with good choice of places to visit and eat at. Even better equipped than the listing with dishwasher, air fryer etc. House was super well insulated so very warm and very comfortable. Highly recommend.

Probably the most beautifully designed and built house we have stayed in perfect for a family group like ours two couples and two children. The beds were comfy, and the hosts helpful and generous. The location is ideal for coastal walks and visits to Alnwick, Bamburgh and Cragside to name only a few, and the panoramic view of Dunstan Heughs is wonderful we had regular sightings of deer and a huge variety of birdlife, as well as a view of the iconic Dunstanburgh Castle in the distance NB. the walk to Craster via Dunstan Square and the Castle is worth it for the kippers and crab sandwiches alone. A big thankyou to our hosts for a wonderful family holiday.
What a wonderful property in a wonderful location. The property has everything you need for a great stay and was spotlessly clean. The beds and pillows were so comfy. Great outdoor space for our three children to play. We loved it so much we are looking to rebook for next year. The welcome basket was a lovely touch. Milk, bread, butter and cake were amongst the delights and a surprise bottle of wine in the fridge also was a lovely touch. Thank you for making our holiday one of the best holidays say our children.

A lovely holiday house, well equipped and furnished in a beautiful location. Ample parking for 2 cars, and 10 minutes walk into Craster. There are many walks from the door eg across to Dunstanburgh Castle or down to Howick Hall and back along the coast path. The owners next door were very friendly. We'd like to return some day.

We couldn't have picked a better place to spend our first Christmas away. The cottage is fabulous and we spent a very relaxed and comfortable week there. All the fixtures and fittings are of a high quality and we had no problem cooking Christmas dinner with such a well equipped kitchen. The lovely welcome basket and Christmas decorations were much appreciated. The owners are very friendly and welcoming and have certainly put a lot of time and effort into making such a lovely place to stay. We certainly hope to return.
We had a lovely time revisiting old haunts. The property was clean, the kitchen was well equiped to the extent that even had an air fryer. The woodburner was a welcome resource. Lovely quiet surroundings. Would have no hesitation in recommending.

Excellent property, and probably one of the best we have stayed in for cleanliness and facilities. Very helpful and friendly owner. Lovely quiet village, but easy access to all attractions. From the property saw rabbits, deer, and a kestral. Also saw seals, dolphins, curlew, herons and lots more wildlife. Embleton beach is amazing, and would definitely return to this bungalow.
A great little cottage in a very quiet location but with good access to the main towns. The property is in good condition, very comfortable. The garden has nice views across the fields and lots of wildlife, we saw deer, rabbits, pheasants
Unfortunately, due to car problems, we were only able to stay one night. However, the cottage was exactly as described an we wold have loved to have stopped there the rest of the week. Fresh, modern, clean and great location.

We found the cottage to be exceptionally clean which is very important to us,It was comfortable and had all we needed for a great holiday, Sitting on the patio just looking at nothing but countryside and listening to nothing but birdsong was Wonderful . Even the 6.5 hours drive home didnt seem so bad
