Thrift Lodge Reviews

Steven
Great location V good standard of accommodation Please inform owner there was water dripping from ceiling in bathroom to the left of the sink. Don't think it was condensation
We have had a fabulous stay at Thrift Lodge. The house was exceptionally clean particularly considering its pet friendly and the whole property was decorated and furnished to a really high standard. The lodge was very comfortable, warm and well equipped. The location is great with countryside views and a short walk through the dunes to some maginificent beaches. The resident peacocks were wonderful although we did have to distract our dogs everytime the peacocks carried out their morning checks of the decking. Weve stayed in many properties on the Northumberland coast and this is now one of our favourites.

Had an absolutely fanastic holiday in Thrift Lodge, and we were extrwmely lucky with the weather too. The Lodge is very comfortable, cosy and well equipped. Will definitely be returning in the future
Jonathan
Really enjoyed our stay at Thrift Lodge. We had been looking for a nice quiet location to take our Cocker Spaniel Odie for a few days as he is terrified of the fireworks we have going off near where we live. We've walked past many times as we normally head to Northumberland every June so knew it was a perfect location. The Lodge itself was stunning, really nicely furnished, really well equipped, and very comfortable which was perfect after the long days walking Seeing the horses, hens and peacocks every morning too was so nice to start the day. Our break was perfect and it was nice to see our dog having such a great time in his favourite part of the country & not cowering in a corner like he would have at home Thankyou very much for your kind hospitality and hope we can come back again someday soon.
Super clean. Really new feeling about it. Everything you need. Football pitch and park perfect for kids. Eggs a nice touch. Thanks for the milk on arrival. Great. Fab distance to beach. Loved the peacocks! Nice friendly waves from the team, so we know you are there if needed. Only 1 thing would improve this further. Can the pressure in the shower be improved at all? The shower looks beautiful but it's poor for having a shower as the pressure is so weak. We have booked for next year the same accommodation. Would be ace is shower pressure could be better.
Fantastic stay, spotless cottage, brilliant location we would love to return! Thank you.
