The place was fantastic, nicely kept and had everything we needed. Perfect spot near Alnwick's centre with plenty of parking and easy access to bus stops. Loved it!

We had a lovely stay! The place is super handy for exploring the town and coast, making everything easy to get to. Plenty of restaurants in Alnwickand the house itself is well-equipped-great for cooking in or enjoying a BBQ. Definitely planning to come back when we visit Northumberland again. Such a gorgeous area!

We really enjoyed our stay! The cottage was spotless and had everything we needed. The location's fantastic-walking to Alnwick Castle was a breezeand exploring Bamburgh, Lindisfarneand the Farne Islands was easy with just a short drive. The beaches nearby are absolutely breathtaking, definitely a highlight of the trip. Would stay again!

We had a lovely stay at Thornbrae Retreat! The place was super clean, modernand really comfortable. It's perfectly located for exploring Alnwick Castle, Gardensand the town centre - everything was within easy reach. We also enjoyed a drink at The Oaks pub, which is just a short stroll away. Supermarkets nearby made things even easier. Alnwick is a great base for discovering North Northumberland - we'd definitely recommend it!

The hot tub was a definite highlight, kept at just the right temp. We also appreciated the welcome pack - such a lovely touch! The gardens are beautiful, with a great outdoor play area, furnitureand a barbecue. Perfect location for exploring local castles, housesand beaches. Definitely recommend!

This is a lovely cottage! It's cozy and perfect for a relaxing getaway. The decor is charming and really gives it that homely feel. We loved the little touches everywhere. The garden is beautiful and a great spot for breakfast in the sun. Also, the location is fantastic, close to the shops and beach, which is a real plus. We had a wonderful time and would definitely return! Just one tiny thing, the shower could do with a bit more pressure, but it didn't ruin our stay. Overall, a great experience!

The property is lovely and finished to a high standard. The location is perfect for easy access from the A1. Alnwick has lots of lovely places to eat and so much to explore all within walking distance. The site has a number of properties and would be great for a large family or friends gathering. The hot tub at the Retreat, where we stayed, isn't covered which meant we didn't use it as we had rain at times. We highly recommend staying at this property!
