This was our 2nd visit to Rock Lodge 2 families & 2 dogs. Everything was great, some of us found the seating a little low old legs & bad backs! The flooring was our main issue, the dogs was sliding all over the place, except on the carpeted area. Beds very comfy, clean good quality linen, plenty of things to do in & around Alnmouth. The garden, view & weather was fabulous, the week went by so quick.

The property was in a perfect location for exploring the area. It was clean and comfortable and had everything we needed. The Welcome Pack was much appreciated after a long drive. The views across the golf course and down to the sea were lovely. It was quiet and peaceful. It was great to have the beach a short walk away and the golf course was handy for coffees and light meals and for golfers if you want to practice or play. Great for those times when you want a bit of a break from travelling and sightseeing. We would definitely recommend this property. Our dog loved it too !

Rock Lodge is a beautiful bungalow in very peaceful surroundings. It is very comfortable throughout, well equipped & maintained to a very high standard showing just how much the owners care about their visitors needs. I have just returned from my second visit & have booked my next two holidays there as I love it so much & couldnt find anywhere better. Perfect! Honestly, nothing but praise for Rock Lodge. From the little welcome gift when we arrived to the lovely accommodation, everything was spot on. The showers, bedrooms, and kitchen were great really felt like a proper home from home. And the walk to Alnmouth is way quicker than it looks on Google Maps 510 minutes along the main road, or take the stunning coastal path right onto the Alnmouth estuary. Great stroll for both humans and dogs. Overall, a brilliant place to stay and explore the Northumberland coast.

A beautiful property overlooking Alnmouth Foxton GC and out to sea. Convenient for Alnmouth beach and other Northumbria coast towns and beaches. Plenty of excellent dining possibilities nearby to allow a special relaxing holiday. Cottage is modern, comfortable and homely and well equipped with all that you might require to enjoy your visit.

The property was ideal for our holiday requirements and enjoyed our stay. Just 2 comments The tv picture in the main living room was very poor despite our attempts to adjust. The beech hedge to the rear of the house obscured the sea view unless you were standing up. Perhaps there was a reason for this but it was a shame .All other fixtures , features and facilities were to a high standard.

The beds in the main bed room probably need replacing and I'd replace the chopping boards in the kitchen

I just wanted to say a huge thank you! !! When walking straight into the property the house was already heated for us making us feel instantly at home! The views of the golf course and sea were beautiful and the house looks exactly as shown on pictures. Also I cant not mention how clean the property was truly a 1010. An absolute gem of a find and we will certainly be returning! We love walking down to Foxton Golfcourse and then along the coastal path along the beach to Alnmouth making sure to call in at the gift shop and the Old School Gallery on the way back. I would highly recommend this walk it was so good we did it every morning

We really enjoyed our stay, the bungalow was comfortable and cosy. We appreciated that they kept the heating on as it was so cold. I have noticed as a company the limited amount of housekeeping products left has diminished which doesnt really help anyone.

The whole property was perfect, the views perfect the be location the privacy perfect. Good internet connection was able to work without interruptions. The whole house is immaculate with very good quality furnishings and fittings. The beds are beautiful the heating is fabulous and the luxury of two bathroom s I d live there permanently if I could.

This is one of the best cottages we have stayed in. It is well maintained and clean. It has a great view and lovely and warm despite the wind ,hail and snow. Im sure we will be back. Again

We have had a wonderful holiday. Rock Lodge was just perfect for the four us, extremely spacious and well maintained and spotlessly clean. We really appreciated the complimentary items, which was very thoughtful, thank you. We are hoping to come back and stay there again sometime.

Everything was good for us

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Rock Lodge to the fact that we didnt want to leave. The cottage is very well equipped for a comfortable and relaxing holiday. The welcome pack and complimentary wine was most enjoyable. The location was great to get out and explore the beautiful beaches and golf courses. I would highly recommend a stay at this beautiful cottage. We will see you again next year.

Fantastic location for our needs. Spacious inside and out and perfect for the four of us sleeps 6 and our two dogs. We would love to come back again.

We found the cottage to be perfect and absolutely fantastic location. Had everything included for a fabulous stay. We would definitely return.

The lodge is very nicely furnished, well maintained and fully equipped. We had everything we needed for our week away. It is in a great location close to a lovely quiet beach we stopped off at the local golf club several times for a coffee and a cake and it is within easy driving distance of local shops and some excellent fish restaurants. We had a great time thank you.

We return to Rock Lodge year after year to enjoy the beauty of Northumberland from the comfort and convenience of a superbly located and very well maintained cottage.

Lovely property and location.

We had a good week staying at Rock Lodge. Its a comfortable and amazingly clean bungalow within walking distance of Alnmouth. There is a real sense of getting away from it all we have already booked again

Rock Lodge is a beautiful property its very comfortable, spotlessly clean and well appointed. Its position in Alnmouth is great and the sea view is just gorgeous. It was perfect for our two dogs too. We had a wonderful holiday and we appreciated all the lovely Xmas decorations and the welcome gifts. We would love to stay there again.

Lovely clean ,spacious property, larger than appears on the photographs We love Alnmouth and visit regularly and will be back to Rock Lodge.

Great property. Have stayed many times. Could benefit from some cereal bowls as only pasta and soup bowls available. The temperature of the en suite shower is a little cool on maximum, this may be as I like a hot shower. More colour coded chopping boards for meatfish would also be useful.

Have stayed here 3times and cannot fault it at all. Very comfortable, clean, and modern.

The place was just perfect! Cant wait to come back next year! Im telling everyone about the place! Forgot to write in feedback guest book but we loved it!

As usual, we really enjoyed our stay at Rock Lodge. There were a couple of minor maintenance items that the owners may wish to add to their todo list 1. Lubricate the locking mechanism of the patio doors the handle has become very stiff. 2. Replace the small bin in the kitchen the lid had broken off. Looking forward to returning this summer!

Beautiful, comfortable and clean cottage, incredibly well equipped and in a stunning location. It&rsquos obvious from the quality of the fixtures and the generous and well thought out little touches that the hosts care a lot about their guests conform and enjoyment. We would highly recommend this cottage and Northumberland to anybody.
