The cottage was amazing. High end equipment was superb. Setting was amazing. The only issue was the washing machine. It wouldnt work after using it twice and the caretakers didnt return my call either of them. Not very good either for us or the fact that they are presumably paid and didnt do their jobs its as well it wasnt an emergency. Overall a fabulous holiday
This cottage is of exceptional standard. Truly wonderful.
Fabulous cottage, amazing location. Would definitely book again.
The house is really lovely. Very clean and has everything you need. High quality crockery etc and comfortable beds. Great showers in both bathrooms. We made use of the lovely log burner Location is stunning and great to have private parking. Can't really l fault it.
Geoffrey
The property and fittings are excellent and we may well book again. A small point the bath towels are too small.
The most idyllic cottage in the perfect position. Inside there was everything and more that we needed and made our stay so relaxing . The owners have put a lot of thought into everything from the lovely welcome gifts to the quality fittings and fixtures.
Valerie
Really lives up to the expectations of a five star holiday cottage. Perfect in every way. Waking up to the waves breaking over the rocks beneath your window wins every time for me. A comfy bed, wonderful showers and top quality furnishings with an eye for detail just confirm Puffin Cottage as a number one choice. Excellent.
Gorgeous coastal design theme. ..we loved the colours and the decor. All very high quality. Sitting in bed of a morning and looking straight out at the sun rising over the sea was amazing. And the Fair Trade welcome box was a treat. We were a bit puzzled by no shaver point which my husband also uses to charge his toothbrush so an adapter would have been good...he didn't shave the last 2 days! But no big deal. Thank you for a lovely week.
Angela
The cottage was of a very high standard. Located next to the Northumberland coastal path which takes you to Dunstanburgh Castle and onto the lovely beach at Embleton.
A superb property with everything you could need for your stay. The location is perfect with stunning sunrises across the North Sea . The cottage is finished to a very high standard and was very comfortable
Lynsey
This is real luxury with a fantastic seaview and location. Well be back!
The cottage is lovely a great location overlooking the harbour with the bonus of parking which can be a challenge in Craster. Our three generation family all had a great stay. The property was beautifully decorated and in excellent condition. The owners have provided everything you might need, perhaps with the exception of a microwave which would have been useful. Would recommend as a great base for exploring Northumberland, just bear in mind the nearest shops are a fair distance away.
Simmone
Fantastic modern property. Beautifully renovated with modern appliances. Parking for two cars which is always a bonus and a beautiful view with its own private garden where you can sit and watch the comings and goings in the harbour.
A beautifully renovated property in a stunning spot overlooking the sea. Very clean with high quality fixtures and fittings. Would highly recommend the kippers from the smokehouse. Great location for walks and within easy reach of other towns and villages. No general shop in Craster so stock up on supplies. We enjoyed a meal in the local pub and of course a glass of wine in the little garden belonging to the cottage! Perfect !

Valerie
Superbly renovated, furnished and equipped.
Kirsten
A very beautiful sea front cottage. The work put in by Edward and Claire is amazing as can be seen by the coffee table book. Furnishings, fixtures and fittings were a class of their own. Secretly wed love this cottage. But will just have to make do with coming back again.
