Rachel
Lovely, well equipped cottage in one of our favourite places. Massive shout out to the housekeeper spotlessly clean, Thank you.
Philip
Fantastic views, comfortable accommodation. We had a minor issue with the shower head which was rectified in hrs 2 hour round trip for the owners. Really comfy bed, kitchen equipped with everything we needed. We had 1 really rainy day, we went to Bamburgh for lunch came back and had a lovely afternoon reading with a bottle of plonk close by. Felt at home. We've booked for next year.
Hilary
Links View is a gorgeous property. The whole property is beautifully decorated & furnished with all the accompanying accessories like cushions & throws matching. The only niggle we have is that in the evening the lighting in the living area is too dark. The lights are so 'moody' It's difficult to see ones plate on the dining table plus one can't take advantage of the most comfortable seating to read a book .
Denise
Fantastic week , cottage was lovely , very clean beautiful views , couldnt fault a thing but ! could do with some new pillows in the main bed room though but other wise fabulous would stay again.
Michelle
Stunning views with a sea view and sunrises and a beautiful house. This was the perfect location for us in all the years we have been coming to Northumberland, a walk to the beach, the castle and the golf course. We loved it so much that within 24 hours we booked it again for next year!
This is our second visit. We love the property. Great location, clean, well maintained and has everything we need for a great break. The views are amazing and are the icing on the cake.
Excellent property, stayed last year in AprilMay, good weather along with the walks. Highly recommended.
Melanie
A wonderful property with the most amazing view, perfect location. .to watch the bird life in the nature reserve from the comfort of the balcony. Very comfortable bed, Only issue we had was with the sound bar on the TV but that could easily be down to us being technophobes. Cant wait to revisit
Sophie
Amazing property. The view was fantastic and we had a great few days there. Would definitely return if staying in the area again. The only real issue was that the bathroom lock didn't work.
Judith
Lovely property. Keep coming back, hope to book again for next year
We have stayed in 3 other cottages along this block, and by far this is the most homley. We will look to stay in this one in the future rather than booking the other's we have stayed in?
Elizabeth
Weve been visiting Embleton for a few years now and this is our first stay at Links View. Perfect location in the village with the best view out to sea and over to Dunstanburgh Castle that weve had of all the properties weve stayed in. Embleton is also a perfect base for exploring Northumberland. We absolutely loved our stay and will definitely return to Links View. Thank you. Liz

I last stayed in this house about 20 years ago and since then it has had a really good makeoverrefurbishment especially the bathroom. Very comfortable lounge furniture and a well equipped kitchen. We had everything we needed for our stay. And, of course, the views from the lounge and balcony are spectacular both in the day and, if you are lucky and get clear skies, at night. The house was very clean and warm when we arrived. Owners I couldnt get the timer on the heater in the single room to work so it had to be switched on or off which wasnt a problem . Probably me just not understanding the process but worth a check. Its about a 10 minute walk downhill from the house to the beach and golf course and for a change of scenery the old quarry and pond next to the house has also had a makeover and is now a nature reserve with clear pathways, 2 free range goats and 2 Dartmoor ponies. Really good bird watching spot. We ate at The Greys Inn one night. 3 different meals, all really good. Will definitely return here & can highly recommend Links View for a stay in Embleton.
Beautiful view from the living room, Good TV with netfix, nicely furnished and well equipped kitchen, very well situated for the beach and the local pubs and shop with easy parking. Downside. The third bedroom is disappointing because there is no window only a high glass panel connected to the main bedroom which luminates the room when trying to sleep. But mostly because there is no radiator so rather cold for our youngest in January, we had to leave the door open to let warmth in however the radiator in the hall also didn't work. There is only one double wall socket in that room which is away from the bed. The hot water supply stopped working on the last day so had to wash pots in cold water.
Rachael
Hi we absolutely love your place. It is our second visit and hope to return again next year. Just a couple of things that may be worth thinking about A new bathroom lock we were 4 friends so had to sing lol The bathroom window doesnt shut properly The shower is a little juddery although still perfectly functional A tin opener. Non of these things detracted from our stay. Loved it and would definitely recommend . It has got to have one of the best views in Northumberland and it is such a pleasure to wake up to it. Thank you for a wonderful stay
Kathryn
We stayed at this cottage each year sometimes twice from 20092019. This is our first visit since 5 years ago. Still as beautiful and peaceful as ever with breath taking views! Inside of cottage lovely and clean but lots of cobwebs and weeds on the back patio and balcony doors. Not a complaint but found the kitchen not as well equipped as previous stays e.g.out of the 7 mis matched mugs 3 were chipped so could not use them, no serving bowls and no tin opener! However, really enjoyed our stay at the lovely cottage
Our third visit to Links View and hopefully not the last! It is a fabulous home, really well equipped, extremely comfortable and with amazing views across the bay.
The preclean for our stay was acceptable but the kitchen and bathroom would benefit from a more thorough clean e. G. just under the cupboards in the kitchen is filthy, not easily seen by everyone but I'm petite and could see clearly the need for a blitz. The basin was very clean in the bowl and taps but outside the bowl and the pedestal were not. The window sills were a bit webby and dusty. Sorry, we love this property but you did ask!
Barbara
Always a pleasure to stay in this lovely property!
The new cutlery could be a bit big for children to use , perhaps could do with a couple of smaller sets also plastic beakers . Could do with a 4th chair for balcony. Socket light in downstairs hallway a great addition. Thank you
We've been going twice, sometimes 3 times a year to Links View for the last 16 years at the same time. Indeed, NCCC, your predecessors, used to contact us regarding said bookings if we hadn't contacted them. Imagine our disappointment when in attempting to book for next year our 13th May booking, you'd let it go, not mindful of our history. You don't care enough about individuals and that's why you only got a 5. L.A.Steel.
Brilliant, would love to come back next year! !!!
Great cottage and superb location
Judith
Been here many times, just love it
A lovely warm, comfortable and well equipped property. The views from the lounge are stunning and the proximity to the village's facilities makes this a perfect holiday location.
Hilary
This is a fabulous property in a fabulous position. Owners have gone to a lot of effort to keep a high standard of decoration, & with many lovely small details, throughout the accommodation. The description of the Links View property as top quality is accurate unlike some of the other properties in this area that we have had the misfortune to stay in where the reality falls way short of their description. This experience of properties ranging from really lovely like LinksView to not at all lovely but with similar descriptions on the NCC website makes it very difficult to chose holiday properties & even to trust the listings. We love Links View & thank the owners for taking such trouble to keep their property up to this standard.
Lovely holiday, always enjoy Embleton third stay at the property though on this occasion disappointed to find letter box hanging off front door on arrival and a chair on the balcony was broken and became unusable by middle of the week. House keeper and owner both informed. More disappointed to see however that the cost of the same seven night holiday stay has increased by over 20 for 2024.
Barbara
We always have a wonderful stay!
What a fabulous cottage everything you need for a relaxing holiday.
Judith
Really enjoyed our stay, hope to come again next year
Great view. Your colleague, Sarah was very friendly, helpful and professional. A credit to your organisation and herself. Cheers, Joe
Simply the most stunning and relaxing view from the living room. Looking over fields out to sea, you watch the waves break, the geese flying overhead, the golfers on the links and Dunstanburgh Castle in the distance. Wonderful!
Lovely, comfortable apartment and beautiful views! Great location for exploring Northumberland, though we were more than happy to stay and enjoy local walks and beaches. Also great place for golfers!
Lovely property, very comfortable and well equipped. Gorgeous sea and coastal views and a very peaceful location.
We have stayed here before and love the position and the views. The property has been modernised since our last visit and was excellent. It is the best equipped cottage we have stayed in anywhere.
Second time to this lovely property. ...very well equipped and tastefully decorated and adorned in a seaside theme. Clean and warm great!
A really lovely place to stay, warm, cosy and very well equipped. All the furnishings were perfect, and it was a pleasure to return to each day. I would love to return.
Excellent location, nice design, well furnished and equipped at a good price.
Very comfortable excellent bathroom. Very clean.
