A beautiful and comfortable house for a large party. We came 10 years ago so came back again. Very clean and super location near the beach. On the downside I was surprised that there was no soap or shower gel in the bathrooms and only 1 toilet roll in each one so we had to buy these. There was no oven glove. My young grandson didnt realise the ball hanging near the stove was made of glass and he by mistake broke a little bit of glass off the side of the left one. Im very sorry about this.
A very spacious wellfurnished property in a wonderful location. Fantastic views from virtually every room. A short walk from the village shop and pub and another short walk to the beach and the catering facilities of the local golf club open to the public. Within a short driving distance of attractions such as the local beaches, the Farne Islands boat trips from Seahouses, Alnwick castle and gardens and many more. Our second visit to this area did not disappoint and the house is one of the best we have stayed in over several years.

We loved staying at this property it had incredible views of Embleton bay and Dunstanburgh castle, wonderful rooms with cosy beds, and we also enjoyed the two sitting rooms, especially the back one with the fire so cosy! The location was also fantastic 10 minute walk to the beach, and a brilliant farm shop and pub both less than 5 minutes walk away in the village. We would 100 love to stay there again. David was also really responsive and helpful when there was a slight issue with the dishwasher. Our only comment was that it would have been nice for the bathrooms to have more soap and shower gel for guests to use.

A spacious house which accommodated our family of ten very well. Fabulous views and a great location for exploring the local area. However, we felt there were poor levels of cleanliness in some areas and the barbecue was uninviting. Despite this, we all had a fabulous holiday and enjoyed our stay in the house.

Three generations, 8 of us had the most amazing stay over the Christmas period. The house was perfect, location, views, comfort and cleanliness. Not that we ventured far, as we had everything we needed right there. Everyone agreed they would like to make a return visit. Thank you.
It&39s a beautiful period property, tastefully extended and restored. Lovely big bay windows, high ceilings, gorgeous original fireplaces and plenty of comfy beds and seating for our party of 10. Nice selection of board games and DVDs. Well equipped kitchen. Wonderful views of the sea, farmland, wildlife and the ruins of Dunstanburgh Castle. Embleton is a charming village and the beach is spectacular. Very tastefully and comfortably decorated, a nice blend of traditional style and modern comforts. Definitely want to stay again!
Beautiful house in a fantastic position. Fifteen minute walk to the beach with wonderful views of the bay and Dunstanburgh Castle.
One of the best we have stayed in for location . ..glorious views, parking, close to beach etc. Spacious and well laid out house. Perfect for three families with children .Good bedding, bathroom facilities. All of a very high standard.
A wonderfully large and beautifully finished house with the most amazing views out to sea and across to Dunstanburgh Castle. Very comfortable living with two spacious lounges and a lovely kitchendiner. Four of the five large bedrooms have the stunning sea views. Perfectly located for Northumberland&39s glorious sandy beaches and castles. Embleton enjoys a useful village store and two good local pubs. Highly recommended!
A spacious and very comfortable property in an awesome position. The views are fabulous, and the nearby coastal walks are great.
This is the second time I have visited first with friends then family. On both occasions we had a very good holiday. Ideally placed for beach and surrounding attractions.
