Another fantastic week at The Red Barn! This was our fourth annual visit and well be back! Everything about this holiday home makes it a perfect place to relax and unwind with family and friends. The chickens and ducks wandering around the garden, the horses in the field next to the house and the peace and tranquillity really helps to recharge your batteries. The converted barn is equipped with everything you need and in an excellent location for beaches, towns and castles along the Northumberland coast. Excellent pub food locally too! We love it.

This cottage was immaculate and absolutely amazing, the setting was incredibly idyllic and perfect for anyone wanting to relax, unwind and just be at peace. The cottage itself caters to everything you could ever need from a stay and the owners are super friendly and attentive. In short, the cottage and where its situated are borderline perfect thanks for letting us stay, Im sure we will be back at some point in the future!

Red Barn was in a lovely village with a couple of pubs and a very good bakerycafe. The barn itself was immaculately clean and had everything you could possibly need for a self catering holiday. It is very handy for getting to the coast and other visitor attractions. The owner was very nice and helpful giving us information about where to visit. All in all a very good holiday.

What an absolute gem! Beautiful cottage which had everything we needed. Lovely setting, very friendly owners, we were so sorry to leave, but look forward to another visit.

This was one of the nicest holiday homes we have stayed in. It was exceptionally clean and very tastefully decorated. Had everything we required and was set in a beautiful garden which was tranquil and peaceful.

The Red Barn is the best holiday cottage we have stayed in so far. We were a party of 5 and all agreed that it was just PERFECT.

We had a lovely time at The Red Barn. The owners are very helpful and happy to have a chat if there are any problems. The accommodation is everything you could ask for. I have stayed in many holiday cottages but this was one of the very best. They have included every possible item you are ever likely to need for a comfortable stay. The location is also very good with beautifully manicured gardens and plenty of parking. And if you are a love the natural world, history and landscape, then look no further. Book yourself in at The Red Barn.

We hired both The Red Barn and The Granary. This property was beautiful and kept so clean. There was everything you could need to have a brilliant stay. The gardens were delightful, watching the birds from the kitchen window was amazing.

We were most impressed with The Red Barn, Longframlington. We are two couples, and knowing that one of us likes a good night undisturbed sleep, we utilised the twin bedroom as well as the doubles. The standard of workmanship that has gone in to the barn conversion is very high. It is also very well equipped. The owner called on us shortly after we arrived, and explained about the local attractions and where to eat when we didnt wish to eat in, which was three evenings. All very helpful and friendly, and one of the nicest places weve stayed in over the last 1015 years. The visitors book indeed shows many guests returning time and again, and we would be more than happy to book a repeat in a lovely peaceful rural setting.

We loved our stay at the Red Barn. It is a well equipped, comfortable and spacious property in a quiet location but with easy access to the A1 and local attractions. The owners had decorated it beautifully for Christmas and it was a real home from home for us. We will definitely stay there again.

We throughly enjoyed our stay at the Red Barn. The house was beautiful and immaculate. It had everything you could possibly need. We didnt want to leave! The owners were lovely, on hand if you should need them but not intrusive. We arrived to beautiful flowers, cake, wine and some little treats, which we thought was such a lovely, thoughtful welcome. The house is perfectly placed to explore many of the amazing places in Northumberland. There is so much to do. The village itself is so lovely and we would also highly recommend a visit to The Running Fox cafe. We hope to visit again.

Fantastic holiday at The Red Barn. The owners were very welcoming and the property had everything you could need for a relaxing break, a real home from home. We used it as a base to tour Northumberland, which none of us had visited before and being quite central we were able to see a lot of this amazing county. Thank you for a lovely holiday.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Property is in a beautiful setting and was very clean. Just one negative and that is the bathroom of the second double bedroom. It is extremely small and instead of a shower over bath a walkin shower would be better. Great week and very nice owner.

Beautifully renovated barn, comfortable with all you need in peaceful, quiet & picturesque surroundings. You can reach many attractions within 30min 1hr including SeahousesBamburghMorpethAlnwick and many others. On arrival there was a bottle of wine, lemon drizzle cake, just lovely and needed after a 3hr drive. Lovely owner, extremely helpful with attractions and surrounding area, walks etc. Beautiful scenery and a much needed relaxing break.

Such a lovely cottage with everything you need very welcoming and delicious cake with the welcome pack. Not an easy walk to the village but a beautiful quiet spot.

The best holiday weve had in a LONG time! Gillian and Steve are fantastic hosts. The Red Barn is perfect! From the welcoming gifts flowers, cake, wine and chocolates to departing, every detail had been thought of including bath robes. We even had the pleasure of meeting the family pets. Having three ensuite bedrooms was a real bonus and made getting ready to go out really easy for a family of 6. Longframlington is in an ideal spot for visiting Cresswell Beach, Craster, Alnwick, Sycamore Gap and Hadrians wall. We had a fantastic day in Bamburgh, Seahouses and back to the beach. Thank you for a brilliant holiday!

A wonderful barn extremely well equipped and perfect hosts, there if needed but kept away when not. The directions were clear and very easy to follow. The barn was rated excellent with us and we have stayed in many lovely holiday homes, this was certainly one of the best.

The Red Barn was one of the loveliest Cottages we have stayed in. It was so peaceful. The owners have thought of every thing to make your stay comfortable. We would go back again and again. The Northumberland countryside offers something for everyone.

We had an excellent holiday at the Red Barn, it was a very relaxing & peaceful break. The cottage was warm, spacious, well equipped & comfortable. Lots of extras provided like tea, coffee, milk, cake, flowers & toiletries etc. Comfy beds, all bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms, plus a downstairs cloakroom, separate large dining room & huge kitchen meaning lots of space. Nice peaceful surroundings, yet not far to travel to all of the tourist attractions. Highly rated.
