This property looked good in the online brochure but we were delighted when we actually got there. The views from the kitchen window are beautiful and the cottage is convenient for everything Alnmouth and the area has to offer. We had a wonderful week. One small thing we had a bit of trouble locating it as it seems to be in a private garden, that you would not go into, so a bit more specific directions would have been helpful. But a minor point. We found the stress due to lack of parking and constant need to locate a parking space impeded upon our enjoyment of our holiday. When we arrived we had to unload our bags with the car parked in the road as we couldnt find a space. Although the stairs are mentioned in the details, these were quite steep and not easy with bags. The description said that hand wash towels were provided. The towels provided were of poor quality and we didnt want to use them. This necessitated a trip to buy them. We would like to have washed them but the apartment, surprisingly has no washing machinedryer. The cooking facilities were sufficient but the cooker lacked a grill tray. The apartment was spacious and the view was very pretty. The showeren suite has the tiniest sink and a bucket shower which left puddles of water. The property is located on the left of the road not right as given in the instructions. The photo online shows the back of the property which is misleading. There is a bench to sit on and clearly the owners use the parking space. The location is quite busy during the day and evening with eateries immediately nearby. The easy access to the beach is a bonus and accessibility to the beautiful coastline. This area has stunning beaches and places to visit but we will select different accommodation next time.

The coach house was in an ideal location in the village of Alnmouth. The cottage was clean and comfortable. The owners were very responsive when we needed them! We had a great holiday.

A very enjoyable stay. Fabulous views to the river estuary and the railway line in the distance. A very comfortable bed and chairs. Although there was a folder with information about appliances and plenty of local tourist leaflets we felt other information about the property eg. location of outside bins, whether there is a recycling policy etc. would have been helpful. We would love to book this property again Otherwise it met all our needs.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay, great location for walks, local pubs and coast. Fantastic views of River Alnmouth from kitchen, loved watching tidal change , rowing boats and the railway!

We loved our stay at Seafield Coach House and would definitely stay there again. It is perfectly situated for the local shops, pubs and restaurants and has a wonderful view of the Estuary, so much so that we barely put the TV on all week! The accommodation was clean and comfortable, the shower was awesome, but the stairs to the first floor, where the main living area is situated, could be troublesome for someone with mobility issues. We thought there would be wifi, but there wasn't, although it wasn't really an issue for us.
