This accommodation is excellent. Its clean, very new, cosy and very comfortable. The bed is large and comfy, the bathroom is modern with an excellent shower. There are some great places to eat in town, and its a good base for travelling to nearby attractions.

A lovely clean, warm, welcoming and well equipped place to stay. The property has everything you need and is very comfortable, and the hosts, who live next door, are very friendly. Alnwick town centre is within walking distance and has plenty of good eating places.

We had a lovely stay at Nenes nest, the owners house is attached but they are very friendly and kind. We were supplied with a pint of milk and 1 roll of toilet paper and there was some body wash and also foil, baking paper and cling film which we really liked and felt it was well equipped. There was also some sachets of tea and sugar & a couple of biscuits which was great. We were happy that the sofa was not the same as pictured on the photos as we did wonder how we would fit but it appears they now have a bigger sofa which was a nice surprise There was games such as dominos , leaflets of local things to do. We really had a nice stay. The only thing I would say that is negative is we came home a day early just because we found the bed pillows to give us a bad nights sleep as they were so big even with one pillow we got back ache most nights as they were too big to sleep comfortably, but this may be a personal preference. We otherwise had a great time and would come back again some time but would probably just bring our own pillows. Thanks for a lovely stay. xx

A delightful cottage, with it's own enclosed seated area through bifold doors really bringing the outside in. The house was clean and had everything we needed for an amazing stay. It had a lovely soft bed with ample room, and the shower was hot and powerful. Also the towels smelt absolutely gorgeous!! The town centre was an easy 15 minute stroll away. We cannot say anything negative about our stay, highly recommend

We spent an excellent week in Nene's Nest. Denise and Ian had provided every comfort in their love holiday house. The location is in easy walking distance to the centre of Alnwick and ideal for exploring the beautiful area. Fully recommended.

I have no reservations about recommending this property to anyone. It is well situated for exploring the Alnwick area. The property is immaculately well maintained, really clean, tidy, well equipped & very comfortable. Perfect for a quiet relaxing holiday.

This was our first time visiting Nene's Nest and we will be back, it's a great base for exploring Northumberland. We would of liked bigger and more towels for a weeks stay, particularly as the weather was so hot! Also one toilet roll for a week isn't enough either and the parking of the car wasn't ideal having to bump the car up a kerb to park everyday. The rear of the property wasn't as private as we are normally used to. Overall though the accommodation was clean, comfortable and well located for a base to stay whilst exploring.

The property was very clean, wellequipped and comfortable. The walk into Alnwick centre took approximately 15 minutes and, once there we found lots to see and do. We used the service bus and visited Amble, Alnmouth and Warkworth. Lovely places with outstanding beaches. A great property in a brilliant location.

The property is very new and kept in lovely condition . It does have steps into the garden from the road so best to be aware of this . The walk to town is 15 mins and a is a slight hill both ways . Owners were very friendly but didnt intrude . Bed and seating all very comfy . Parking is on the road we had no problem but very near a junction . All in all a nice place .

Fantastic property. Clean, almost new, very close to town centre. Spent more time in property than planned due to my wife falling and breaking her arm , but its extremely well equipped and comfortable so no problem. Would recommend. We will return next year ! Ps. Tea,coffee,milk and biscuits were provided for when we arrived.

Its beautifully presented and fully equipped in a quiet location within walking distance of the town centre but also close to the A1 for exploration of the Northumberland countryside. This is an excellent holiday property, extremely well positioned for town and beautiful coastline alike. It is very well equipped, clean and attractively presented in a quiet area of the locality. Plenty of on street parking is available. The owners are readily available and very helpful if you have any queries although an information pack with local contact details etc would be useful. Misleading to call it a cottage,however, its very nice accommodation in a lovely town. Only negative is the lack of towels, one hand and bath towel each is not enough. It is not very nice to reuse the same towels for 5 days and no facilities to wash them.

Just returned from a fabulous stay at Nenes Nest. The property has been beautifully furnished and decorated by the owners. There was everything we wanted at the property, very clean and comfortable. Denise was always at hand should we need anything but at the same time we had absolute privacy. We would have no hesitation in returning to the property.

Gorgeous little annex, spotlessly clean, had absolutely everything we needed. The bed was amazing, the whole property is thoughtfully presented. We stayed for a week and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We had a great stay at Nenes Nest. The kitchen was well equipped should you want to cook a meal and the sofa was very comfortable. It was good having a TV in the lounge and bedroom so we could watch different things. The bed was so comfortable, I have neve slept so well in a bed other than my own and the shower was excellent. Having the small patio outside was also useful to have so you could soak up some sun if you wanted. The location was excellent for exploring Northumberland, such as Bamburgh, Cragside and Alnwick itself. Cleanliness was excellent. Overall I would highly recommend.
