A beautiful cottage with everything you could need in a lovely little village

We had a great time at Jasmine cottage. It was very clean and extremely well equipped with everything we needed. The owner, Sue, provided us with a lovely welcome pack and lots of very helpful information about the area. If in Northumberland we would definitely stay there again

We had a fantastic week at Jasmine Cottage. The property was very well equipped, spotlessly clean and located in the perfect position, between Alnmouth and its lovely beach and Alnwick and connections to the rest of the area. Sue was an excellent host, making sure we'd settled in ok and offering us some really helpful suggestions.

Jasmine Cottage was extremely clean and very comfortable. The cottage and garden is very well cared for. Every little detail had been thought of, from the generous welcome pack, to the kitchen utensils and the dog towels, making our stay really easy as a family of four and a dog. We have come away feeling thoroughly relaxed. The village is lovely with great little dog walks close by as well as much longer ones. The walk down to Alnmouth is lovely. Jasmine Cottage is our goto accommodation for all our visits to the fab Northumberland coast. It is spotlessly clean, well equipped and well maintained. Inside is very comfortable don't be put off by the downstairs bathroom, the stairs are super easy and lit and the garden is beautifully cared for. Sue is knowledgeable, contactable and responsive and cares about the enjoyment of her guests. The village is quiet and tidy and has a fab pub and shop. The location is great for our needs close to the beaches of Alnmouth and Alnwick nearby. Highly recommend.

Excellent cottage in a lovely little village. Great location for the Northumberland coast and only a couple of minutes drive from Alnmouth station for trains to Newcastle and Edinburgh. The owners provided information on the area before we arrived and also left a welcome pack, which was a really nice touch. I would 100 recommend.

We had a lovely time at Jasmine Cottage. The cottage was very clean and we had everything we needed and more. Sue left a small food hamper in a basket in the kitchen, wine and milk in the fridge. She even left dog towels and biscuits for our dog. Sue very friendly and told us places to visit. All in all we had a great time and hope to be back when the weather is warmer as it was very windy and cold when we visited in April.

What a pleasure it was to stay in such comfort in a lovely well cared for cottage that had everything we could need. Immaculate, spotless, well maintained and with homely comforts and finishing touches it is immediately obvious that the owner, who is very helpful and accessible, cares about the property and garden and the enjoyment of guests. Fantastic cottage in a great area. Alnmouth is 20 minutes walk away, while Alnwick is 15 minutes in the car, and a whole load of other fantastic locations just a short drive away. The cottage was immaculate and well stocked, and the welcome basket for humans and treats for the dog were the cherry on the cake. If you have a dog with you the cottage is perfect, with a secure garden, double gated entry path and multiple good walks right out the front door. We including the dog had such a great time here we're looking to book again.

Jasmine Cottage is a little gem in the Northumberland countryside. Well situated in the village of Lesbury, which is connected to the main bus route and rail links. It is well equipped and cosy and has the bonus of being dog friendly. The owners are very friendly and helpful and really couldn't have done anything more to make our stay more enjoyable. Would highly recommend!

Very impressed by Jasmine Cottage and the owner Sue, who was extremely helpful, while remaining unintrusive. The cottage is in a fabulous quiet village centrally situated to explore Northumberland. 15 minute walk into Alnmouth and my dog loved the whole experience,as did we. Shame the pub next door is closed but we were aware before we arrived. Very considerate welcome hamper was waiting our arrival and the cottage was spotlessly clean and fabulously equipped. Lots of doorstep walks too, featuring lovely wildlife. I would recommend the cottage in a heartbeat.

The excellent support from the owners. The lock down occured in the last few days of our holiday. Sue sent us a copy of the Govt. ruling which permitted us to complete our holiday. The description of the holiday let was 100 accurate. It was a lovely break during a time of national crisis.

This is a very comfortable cottage in a good location for visiting castles etc. , a range of excellent walks and lovely clean beaches. The cottage was obviously super clean so we felt safe staying there. The owners live locally and are on hand for any queries and ideas for walks. There was an excellent welcome basket too. We enjoyed our stay.

Communication was good from both sykescottages and the owner of the cottage. The cottages itself was immaculate and very clean with everything you could need.

An absolutely brilliant little gem of a cottage. Near enough to get to all the sites of Northumberland but, far enough to enjoy a quieter holiday. All amenities were first class. Sue, left us dog treats, tea, coffee, milk, eggs and to relax with a chilled bottle of wine. Everything was set up to make it stay as comfortable as possible. Sue is always on the end of the phone, if, needed. We cannot praise this little jewel of the north enough. Well certainly be coming back year after year

What a fantastic place, had a great time, like a home from home, warm, welcoming, cosy, clean and comfortable, I could go on. Everything was there that we needed, after a day out, it was lovely to return to a warm cosy cottage, as we were there during a wild storm. Lesbury is a small village, but great location for seeing Northumberland. Sadly the pub next door had closed, but honestly it was so cosy we didn't want to venture out. Definitely will return

Our whole experience at Jasmine Cottage was great. Sue the owner made contact with us to iron out any glitches. There really weren't any. The cottage was spotless and comfortable. The welcome pack was extensive, including eggs, bread, milk, fruit, biscuits and dog treats! We were there over Christmas and Sue had even put up a few tasteful decorations. The folder of local information was very useful. We thoroughly enjoyed our week and would certainly stay there again.
