High Tide Reviews

Lovely property and location. Property badly lacking maintenance to water supply due to continual pressure issues previously mentioned in older reviews. In need of a deep clean and redecorating. Numerous lighting inoperative and an over complected heating system. In it's current condition I cannot recommend. Managing agent in Seahouses informed of all issues.
Lovely cottage and great location. Quiet and comfortable.
Whilst we enjoyed our stay at High Tide we were disappointed with the water pressure for showers. Also the oven trays need replacing. Otherwise it was comfortable and cosy and ideally situated.

Comfortable beds, lounge chairs and sofa ok Clean and convenient layout
Lovely cottage in a beautiful setting. Beds v comfy, kitchen well stocked, couple of oven trays would be useful. Underfloor heating takes a wee while to get used but very cosy when sussed out. Club chairs not used, just not comfortable for a relaxing evening, couple of high backed armchairs or ikea slouches would be ideal. Those very small things aside, beautiful cottage in wonderful setting, 1015 minute drive from various stunning beaches,
Excellent accommodation. Very spacious and well equipped. There is a nice little garden for sitting out, plus an extra expanse of grass for any ball games for any energetic guests. There is a newly fitted car echarging point which isn't yet mentioned in the property details. I would recommend this property.
Excellent holiday cottage great location for touring this fantastic coastline. Lovely homely feel with everything necessary to ensure a smooth and relaxing holiday. We had wonderful weather which certainly helped us enjoy our time together following a family wedding at nearby Newton Hall.
We needed 3 working bathrooms for our party but only one of the showers worked some of the time and the other two occasionally . Think its because of the water pressure so dont have a shower if anyone else on the complex is using the water . No blind on upper twin bedroom window or upper front shower room so use towels maybe . I did contact agency a few times but no response before we visited as I was concerned by most recent review . I rang the agency when we realised two of the showers didnt work and was informed someone may visit but no update to confirm if they did or didnt . Dogs are allowed and I love dogs but not when the other occupants let them bark their heads of in the morning . Other than that we really enjoyed our stay .
High Tide was a beautiful, spacious place to stay. Lovely design and impeccably clean. The cottage is in an ideal location for all of the great places we like to visit and the stunning walks that Northumberland has to offer, especially if you have a dog.We will definitely be returning. Thank you Ali

Lovely area, cottage was nicely laid out and reasonably clean. The garden area could do with a tidy up and the blinds upstairs definately need replacing as does the bottom rollers on the dishwasher.

A week here was thoroughly enjoyed. Below is the Pros & Cons which we have gathered while staying here. Pros Comfortable Beds Pet friendly Well equipped Washing Machine Enclosed garden Easy access to top sights in Northumberland Transport Required but not too busy in the local area Nice view from the top windows Private parking on site plus electric car PodPoint Cons Some Decor needs updating paint marks, scratches and broken ornaments etc. bird poo on lounge focal point canvas & chipped crockery No toilet roll holders Blind in upstairs bedroom broken woken up by bright sunlight daily Living room furniture only big enough for 4 Cleanliness could be a little better Water pressure isnt the best only good enough for one shower etc Shower head needs changing Bin bags are cheap and broke when moving Label bins to show which is recycling Upstairs bed sticks out too much to walk round because of the sloping roof so be careful of your shins getting hit All in all a nice week here and with these cons being addressed we would gladly stay again.
A very nice cottage in a lovey area, Transport is essential when staying here.

Beautiful accommodation and felt at home as soon as arrived. Peaceful and great location for exploring locally. Highly recommend.
An excellent cottage, well equipped, great location, and very reasonably priced.
Excellent holiday comfortable and well equipped property.
Excellent cottage. Very quiet and comfortable in a good location to explore Northumberland coastal area.
Beautiful spacious and well equipped cottage, the dishwasher and washing machine are excellent extras and the docking stations and radio a complete plus. Beds are comfy and bathrooms ideally placed. The enclosed garden is ideal and I really cannot fault the cottage and grounds.
High Tide is among a small collection of stone buildings attractively converted into into holiday homes near the coast. It is spacious and clean, perfect for six between three bright bedrooms. Good dining and sitting space, with a small enclosed area outside and great to find such a nice house that will take a dog. It does not have a big view, looking instead towards the other buildings, but a moment&39s walk from the door takes to you to open fields and a view of the sea. Recommended!
Perfect property especially for a group of friends. We found the cottage so warm and inviting for our stay in November. Every bedroom nicely private and suited us perfectly as we prepared for our sons wedding.
This is a well appointed cottage in a lovely location. If you wish to walk anywhere at night then a good torch is essential. There are lots of things to see and do in the area.
