The location is utterly awesome, with views of the sea both front and back and views of Dunstanburgh Castle from the fantastic loft conversion. What a fabulous place to stay! The views from both sides of the house are gorgeous, the secret room at the top is just wonderful, and the place is really comfortable. We loved the little garden, parking was easy , and the place was equipped with everything we needed . Craster is beautiful, tranquil and quiet (at least it is in early May) . We loved watching the changing light out to sea, and the sheep and hares among the gorse behind the garden. The smokery and the Jolly fisherman were very welcome, and we were able to get to our old haunts around Seahouses (fish and chips, trips to Farne, co-op).
