Bunty's Place was a great place to stay in Northumberland. The location is peaceful with great views. It's not far from the coast or national park, and there are good walks from the house. The cottage is a good size with a well equipped kitchen and a selection of books, dvds and games. It also has a lovely garden. We've already been recommending it to friends!
If you like peace and quiet, this cottage is ideal. Beautiful back garden and views over field towards the hills to the front. Inside everything you need is provided. Cosy and clean throughout. Good base for exploring Northumberland. Best cottage we have stayed at for many years.Hope to return. Thank you

Bunty's Place is a welcoming homefromhome in a beautiful and peaceful location. The cottage is well equipped with everything we needed and more! The games and Lego provided were really enjoyed by our daughter and the local information and leaflets were very helpful. There is so much to see and do in the area. We loved our stay our second time here and hope to return again.
Everything was provided. A lovely quiet place with lots of places to visit .
An idyllic location with superb views and the cottage is very well equipped.
10 years we've been coming here. This time for our Golden wedding anniversary and we wouldn't have wanted to go anywhere else. Why? We've found total peace and quiet to remember our time together. Buntys is well equipped, well located and is an oasis in a turbulent world of noise and upheaval. Thankyou Judy and Andy.

This was such a comfortable cottage, so quiet and with superb views. It was comfortable and had everything we needed for our stay. It was also a great base for exploring the sites of the area and for enjoying some lovely walks in the Cheviot hills.
A lovely stay with fantastic views of the surrounding countryside. The cottage was comfortable and well equipped as well as being spacious and having a beautiful, large garden. It is well placed as a base to explore Northumberland and peaceful. We had such a relaxing stay and would certainly return. Thank you.
Nice homely cottage! A bit on the cool side We did stay for the Christmas week I imagine that if we'd had the the temperatures of the last week, It could have been quite difficult to keep warm. The only cons were that the bedding feels quite rather cheap, other than that, great value for money! oh and the views are stunning. I would definitely recommend Bunty's Pace.
William
This was an excellent property, well maintained and the owners were excellent and very helpful. There are some great walks close by and a very quiet country cottage.
Elizabeth
Very comfortable cottage, extremely well equipped. A real home from home surrounded by lovely countryside with great views I wasn't expecting it to be quite so remote and would have liked some guidance on where the walking routes from the property were. However we enjoyed a very pleasant stay and would recommend it for a holiday where peace and quiet were a priority.
Lorraine
Lovely comfortable cottage with everything you will need during your holiday. Loads of wildlife around the cottage. You need a car as the cottage really is in the middle of nowhere. We loved Milan the Italian Restaurant in Wooler, but be warned the portions are big! We took the train from Berwick to Edinburgh, visited Bambrough Castle, Cragside, Lindisfarne, among other places and we were impressed with all. Also good communication with owners. Would recommend.
What a wonderful week we had at Buntys Place! It was a real home from home, with everything we needed, and so lovely with all the access to the outdoor space and the wildlife on the doorstep. We loved the walk up to and past St Cuthberts Cave from the lane nearby, the kids loved scrambling over the rocks and the views from the top ridge were spectacular in every direction. We have already recommended the area to others sorry! Lets hope it keeps as quiet though!!.
Bernard
What an amazing place to stay! A very comfortable house with a lovely atmosphere. It has been nicely brought up to date but still had the 1930s vibe which reminded me of my grandparents' houses. The view from the front is towards the Cheviot hills and is constantly changing. You are in the heart of the countryside here and it is very quiet. The wildlife is also abundant we saw house martins, sparrows, a yellow hammer, willow warblers, thrushes, hares, rabbits and a lizard on our walk up to St Cuthbert's cave. Bunty's Place is probably the nicest holiday let we have stayed in over the last 4 years and we have stayed in quite a few. Thank you Judy and Andy for sharing this special place.
This is our home from home but without all the hassle. Peaceful, quiet, relaxing an oasis in this world of upheaval. Thankyou for providing such a wonderful place.
Lynsey
The property was amazing, the location was stunning. We enjoyed our stay. The property was clean and well equipped. It was lovely to hear the birds every morning and evening. Weve stopped in a few cottages over the last couple of years and this one is one of the best weve stayed in.
Maxine
Buntys Place was a great holiday cottage with the most amazing view of the countryside. Peaceful and quiet.. the perfect place to unwind. Easy access to the A1 and handy for Bamburgh, Seahouses, Holy Island , Berwick and Alnwick. A comfortable and relaxing stay!!
Lovely cottage in a quiet place and in a great location, so close to everywehereyou'd need to visit. It was so cozy with the fire lit each night and a friendly hen visiting each morning and the horses across the way
Richard

Location Location Location! ! Lovely warm, homely property in the most beautiful setting.
The overall experience was great. We will probably vist again. We would like to come in a summer month to experience the night sky we saw it once by accident and it was amazing.
A lovely cottage with amazing views, easy walks straight from cottage, also a great place for a relaxing holiday but within a short drive from the local attractions.
Christine
As you can see, our feedback is varied. So, I will explain. As we wrote in the visitors book, we had a wonderful week. However there were a few issues. Cleanliness, we felt that was quite basic, no real attention to detail. Comfort, Good, although we did agree with the comment in the visitors book, that the main bedroom should be the one with the single beds in as the boiler is noisy. Facilities & Maintenance, Only 2 saucepan lids, & one of those the knob fell off, the towel hook by the sink in the bathroom fell off as did a hook behind the door!! We always carry a screw driver, so my husband fitted them all back on. Very poor water pressure in shower. Other than that, there is enough in the kitchen for anyone to produce a meal!!! Other than our observations, we did have a really good time & would return, the cottage is in the most amazing area, you could spend every day out walking from the property & leave the car parked up!!!
Nicola
Lovely place to stay and great communication with the owner, making both arrival and departure stressfree. So many interesting places to visit within a short drive, too. The bed was incredibly comfortable and the accommodation very wellequipped. The log burner in the lounge and lovely outside areas make it an ideal place to stay whatever the weather. We had an amazing week!
There should be hand towels available as well as bath sheets which are not helpful for arthritic hands , also soap and towel in the kitchen area as there is no wash basin in the downstairs toilet .
Douglas
Bunty's Place is a wonderful retreat from everyday life. Peaceful with wonderful views across the fields and lots of birds, cattle, hares and grouse to watch. Located within easy distance of the holy island of Lindisfarne, Bamburgh Castle etc. Good local restaurants and pubs a few miles away. Would thoroughly recommend a stay here to relax and recharge.
Malcolm
Nice house with all facilities and a good garden. Lots of wildlife around and useful CoOp just 3 miles away in Belford.
Thomas Farrell
Excellent property we were exceptionally pleased with our weeks stay at Buntys cottage. Two very happy guests!!
We had a lovely week again. This is our second visit and we loved the location enough to come back. The weather was perfect and the cottage is comfortable and homely. It had all the facilities we needed and we will definitely consider returning. The peace and tranquillity was just what we needed.
A good sized cottage in a peaceful location with stunning views, wild life and farm animals. Everything you could need for comfortable stay provided. A couple minor points, boiler in bedroom a bit noisy, only 2 logs for the wood burner provided, I'm sure just an oversight on this occasion. Ideal base to visit many attractions including Craigside National Trust property, Bamburgh, Holy island, Alnwick, where there is also easy access to 4 charging points for electric cars near McDonald's. Would recommend.
Michelle
A well equipped clean lovely cottage which makes the most of the stunning area.
If you fancy getting away from it all and surrounding yourself with nature, deer, hare, partridge, pheasants, bulls, horses and a multitude of sparrows to name a few then stay at Buntys Place. Everything you could wish for is provided including a generous welcome basket. The setting is superb and the changing light across the valley is mesmerising.
Stephen
Lovely cottage in a beautiful setting and very quiet and peaceful with large garden. Clean and well equipped. Super walks from the cottage and well situated for nearby attractions especially Lindisfarne. Loved seeing all the hares even a young one in the garden. Would highly recommend
Rodney
Great cottage in the middle of nowhere but easy to get to the lovely places in Northumberland. It was well equipped and we had a great time.
IT WILL BE MANY HOLIDAY COTTAGES IN THE FUTURE TO FIND ONE BETTER ALL GREAT WE RECOMMEND TO ALL
Yvonne
Buntys Place is in an ideal location for anyone wishing to get away from it all. The views from the front seating area are unspoilt with the Cheviot Hills in the background. The viewing room upstairs is perfect for bird watchers and to admire the scenery. The cottage was very comfortable and cosy and the kitchen was one of the best equipped kitchens weve had in a cottage. It had everything and more. There are walks from the doorstep and some of Northumberlands main attractions are within a 30 minute drive from the cottage.
Loved our stay at this lovely little house. Magnificent views and so peaceful and quiet. Rural setting with wildlife in abundance. Internet signal comes and goes but we managed. House really well equipped. Take warm clothing for walking as can be very windy.
This is a secluded property offering a relaxing getaway in delightful countryside. It is very near St Cuthbert's Cave and local facilities are a car drive away not far. There is wildlife all around and was delightful. the cottage has everything you need and is well stocked wit all the essentials. It was comfortable and tidy, warm and very private. Good communication from the owners and we identified no issues. Highly recommend if you want a retreat from the daily ratrace, we will definitely return.
Fabulous well equipped cottage, with beautiful views,. Excellent base to explore Northumberland
