We had a great stay at 1 Pringles Yard. It was quirky and very comfortable. It was a good location for visiting castle and gardens, shops, restaurants and local market. Enjoyed playing pool. Would definitely stay here again.

This was a fun place to stay with all the quirky items dotted around the apartment and the pool table to use. There were thoughtful touches like the childrens items in the single bedroom, milk and teacoffee provided for arrival and Tunnocks Teacakes as a treat! The layout was perfect for us and the location so convenient. Be prepared for the noise from the high street.

Great place to stay in centre of Alnwick, so a short walking distance to Castle and Gardens and all the various amenities and shops in the town. Very clean and comfortable. Unlimited free street parking available nearby during our stay. Just a short walk with luggage. Would thoroughly recommend.

Pringles Yard is very centrally located. This does mean a bit of noise, especially at the weekends but it wasn't a major issue. We had no trouble parking on Clayport Street most of the time. It lives up to its 'quirky' description and has everything that you need, although the kitchen could be better equipped.

The apartment is outstanding with lots of quirky features which we loved! Really high standard of cleanliness and everything we needed was provided. Great central location in Alnwick, with lots of good places to eat we loved The Dirty Bottles pub for meals out, and just a few minutes walk to the castle. There was no parking on site but this wasn't a problem as there is plenty of free parking within a couple mins walk. The owners were fantastic and made sure we had everything we needed for our stay. I would definitely return to Pringles Yard and wouldn't hesitate to recommend to friends and family.

Great location, quirky and comfortable flat, well equipped. We didn't travel with children, but the place was very child friendly.

We really liked Pringles Yard. It is a quirky, interesting, comfortable flat, in the heart of Alnwick. The owners were very welcoming and helpful, and the M&S voucher was a lovely touch. Thanks again, we hope be back one day.

What a gem! This quirky and comfortable flat right in the heart of Alnwick not only lived up to the description and photos on the website, but exceeded them. It has everything you could need if you don't need a garden plus. Being able to walk to all the amenities, including one of the best castle in the country, can't be bad, plus the owners really do go the extra mile and seem really intent on you having everything you need. Definitely a 10 out of 10 property!

Pringles Yard is a quirky and fun place to stay, perfect for exploring Alnwick and Northumberland. A great comfortable space with amenities on the doorstep. We truly enjoyed our week exploring the area.

A beautiful place, unusual and interesting. Very comfortable, plenty for adults and children to amuse themselves. Great location within 5 minutes walk of everywhere in Alnwick, and right next door to the Adam and Eve restaurant which does fantastic food.

Just back from a lovely stay at Pringles Yard. What a quirky little place, the hosts have done an amazing job. Good size rooms, plenty of space for everyone. The little single room made my 6 yr olds day, complete with books, lego, cars, drawing stuff and a desk! Everything we needed was in the house and access to some games and movies was a bonus. So central, everything on your doorstep. Parking to unload waa a bit of a challenge but as long as you don't mind carrying things we had no trouble parking further up the road. No issues with noise from the road for us using the rooms in the upper part of the house. Would definitely recommend a stay here!

Had a brilliant stay at Pringles Yard. The apartment itself is lovely with plenty of room and full of character and lots of quirky things to look at. The rooms are spacious and clean and the beds are so comfortable! Things like the pool table, games & the smart tv are great too especially if it's a bit too rainy to venture out. The owners are only a call away if needed and there are helpful leaflets and there is plenty of information about the local area. There's plenty of free parking locally and loads of places to eat out. The apartment is perfectly positioned in Alnwick town centre for easy walking distance to shops, cafes and local attractions like Alnwick Castle, Alnwick Castle and Barters books. It's also easy driving distance to castles as Dunstanburgh and Warkworth and some lovely beaches and it's a great base for the North East generally.

Location, location, location! Our first visit to this part of the country and we definitely hit the bulls eye with the location! Alnwick itself if a fabulous, friendly and full of loads of wonderful, independent shops including the amazing Barter Books and a castle within easy walking distance. The apartment is also in a great location, 2 minutes walk from a supermarket, shops, restaurants etc. A couple of reviews mentioned night time noise but honestly I think we heard maybe two people on the Friday and Saturday night and that was it. Nothing to worry about or to spoil a holiday. The apartment is full of lovely, quirky touches. Our teenagers would say it was perfect for great Instagram posts! No hesitation in recommending both Alnwick & Pringles Yard.

We couldnt recommend a stay at Pringles Yard high enough. The owners were great with communication before, during and after our visit and had thought of everything down to kids board games. The quirky decor and location were spot on close to both Northumberlands coast and inland attractions. Wed love to come back and visit again at some point in the future!

We had a wonderful stay at Pringles Yard. The location in the centre of town was excellent. There was a bit of late night noise on the Saturday night but this wasnt a problem. The flat was well situated for visiting all the attractions in Northumberland that we wanted to visit and is not far from the coast. It was well equipped, clean and comfortable and I would highly recommend it. So much so that we are just deciding when we can visit again! 10 out of 10.

Cozy and quirky, 1 Pringles Yard is a lovely well thought out space, brimming with character. Its a really central location so great to walk to just about anywhere in Alnwick, we had no problem parking on a nearby street in fact we got the same space each time. We had wine and chocolates left for us and enjoyed a great week at a really special location. The owners are easy to get hold of and proactive. A great stay,

We had a really lovely week at Pringles Yard. The accommodation is beautifully presented, lots of interesting features and design touches. We had everything we needed for our stay and Kris the owner was easy to contact with any queries. The position of the flat was excellent for exploring the stunning beaches of Northumberland and the surrounding countryside. Alnwick itself was lovely and we really enjoyed eating out and shopping on our doorstep I would highly recommend both the flat and the area and we will definitely be visiting again.

We had a lovely week at Pringles yard. The accommodation is clean comfortable and has a quirkiness about it which is very appealing. Its central location in Alnwick was a real bonus as we were able to be out at shops, bars and the theatre within minutes. We did find it a bit noisy at night time at the weekends but this didnt detract from our stay. Alnwick and the surrounding area were lovely to visit and overall we were very happy.

Think you need to say that there are steep stairs to the apartment in your information as we managed them but our age group need to know about that before we arrive. It did not spoil our holiday but would like to have know before hand. We had a great time in the lovely but unusual accommodation which we found very interesting and added to our holiday. Loved the window that had no outlook and the door headboard. Well worth a visit and so very centrally situated with Morrisons our corner shop.

What an absolute treat Pringles Yard is! The decor is beyond cool. I actually took photos as inspiration for my next room revamp at home. The facilities were excellent and the little touches for the children were so appreciated. Especially the Lego and cars! Perfect location with SO much to do in walking distance or a short drive.

Fantastic accommodation in the highly recommended town of Alnwick! We visited with a family of 4, plenty of room and very well thought out interior with an excellent kitchen, lounge with a small poolsnooker table, plenty of games, and 3 bedrooms. Will certainly visit again when in the area. Alnwick is a great place to visit within easy reach of many beaches and lots of castles! Hosts were really helpful and communicative highly recommended!

Could not recommend this property more highly if you are staying in Northumbria. All of the countys attractions are in easy reach. The property is slap, bang in the middle of town so ideal to explore Alnwick. The property itself is great. Spotlessly clean, 3 bedrooms, plenty of wardrobe space, good lounge and a good sized, well equipped kitchen. It does not have its own parking but we found no problem parking within 100 yards at any time with the provided permit. We found the mattresses a little soft for us but that is very subjective and others may feel differently. If you are not using all the bedrooms I suggest you use the bedrooms on the upper floor as they are a little quieter. One tip when you arrive the owner gives very detailed instructions how to find the property but Id suggest just driving into town and parking on Morrisons. Then go and get the keys, open up and bring your luggage through the gate on the main road. Afterwards, move your car and park using the permit provided. You can park on Morrisons for 2 hours. The owners themselves were very responsive, friendly and welcoming. They checked in with us when we arrived and when we left. We had no problems during our stay but Im confident anything would have been dealt with very quickly. We had a lovely stay.

Excellent apartment in the heart of Alnwick. Spacious with everything we needed for a great stay. Northumberland has some stunning scenery and lots of interesting places to visit and the apartment was well placed to explore from.

A lovely stay in an apartment which the owners had made attractive and interesting slightly unconventional and a refreshing change from the usual. Plenty of space over 2 floors and centrally located. Particularly enjoyed the pool table. Would happily return.

The three of us really enjoyed our stay at PY, from the small little touches like having a welcome pack of goodies to enjoying a spacious, well kitted out holiday home in the middle of Alnwick with plenty of room for the little one to run around and somewhere for us to comfortably relax in the evenings. The surrounding areas are lovely too and we didn't have enough time to really take it all in, so hopefully it won't be too long before we're back.

Pringles yard is a wonderful, contemporary and quirky place. Its wonderfully welcoming and cosy and has everything you need. Its close to the beautiful castles of Alnwick and bamburgh and the scenery is just stunning. We were there with our three children and even on a rainy day the kids entertained themselves for hours playing hide and seek. We def recommend this gorgeous little cosy place.

We have spent a fantastic, relaxing week at 1 Pringles Yard with our two teenagers. Loved the quirky, vintage style of the apartment. The owners have thought carefully and provided everything needed for a comfortable stay. The pool table was a hit with everyone! The location is fantastic with its proximity to the castle and gardens and a wide choice of pubs, restaurants and takeaways in the town. We followed the advice to visit Warkworth, Alnmouth, Craster and took the train to Newcastle. I think we have all fallen in love with Pringles Yard and Northumberland! Thank you

We really enjoyed our stay at pringles yard. Was so comfortable and everything we could have asked for.Had lots of nice meals in the lovely places around alnwick and lots of places to go and visit.The location of pringles yard was spot on.Had a great time glad we chose it for our week away.

Conveniently located and well presented apartment in lovely Alnwick, a perfect base for a Northumberland break. The owners are really helpful and have shown a fabulous design eye in decorating the accommodation. I guarantee the pool table will be popular too!

The apartment is in a great location for visiting lots of different areas. Alnwick itself is lovely, walking distance to the castle from the apartment. The kids loved broomstick training! Do go early as it is popular. Alnwick also has great restaurants and the Tanners Arms is a fab little pub just down the road from the apartment. Do check it out!
