This was our second Christmas in this lovely cottage and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay again. It's certainly a peaceful and relaxing place to spend the holiday period and the owners have thought of everything to ensure a comfortable stay. We won't hesitate to return again.

Lovely accommodation in a beautiful setting. Pristine cleanliness with clear attention to detail. Beautiful walks straight from the door but everything you might need to relax inside too. A very generous welcome pack on arrival and lots of leaflets and information on local services and attractions which was really helpful. Recommend this property without reservation.

Murdoch and Jemma were brilliant hosts ,living next door is handy for any queries . The accommodation was spotless and everything was at hand . The location is ideal for visiting the coast and all the villages with Alnwick really accessible for everything else . Coco and Quackers were a pleasant distraction and the wildlife in the surrounding area was a joy. We would love to return to this perfect location .

Great property would definitely recommend. In our top 5 of properties weve stayed in. Owners are very friendly and helpful. Good location for the Northumberland coast and only 15 mins from Alnwick where you can do all your shopping. The house is modern and spotless with everything you need. Couldnt fault it. There are some good walks from the house. We had a very relaxing time there.

A truly lovely property. The cottage was nicely furnished and extremely well equipped with everything needed for self catering. The welcome basket and bottle of wine were much appreciated. The full width bifold doors were amazing and we enjoyed watching the local wildlife each evening. All in all a thoroughly enjoyable holiday and would definitely recommend this property.

There were ample kitchen utensils and the appliances were easy to use. The Information File was very helpful with clear instructions and useful local information. The location is ideal peaceful and relaxing with wonderful views. It was so nice to be able to walk into Craster and then further up to Dunstanburgh Castle worth visiting. It is a very good base for sightseeing in the area. The owners have taken a lot of care and consideration in providing a lovely holiday cottage and we highly recommend it.

Great place to stay, really quiet with beautiful views across open fields. Plenty of walks in all directions from the door with good choice of places to visit and eat at. Even better equipped than the listing with dishwasher, air fryer etc. House was super well insulated so very warm and very comfortable. Highly recommend.

Probably the most beautifully designed and built house we have stayed in perfect for a family group like ours two couples and two children. The beds were comfy, and the hosts helpful and generous. The location is ideal for coastal walks and visits to Alnwick, Bamburgh and Cragside to name only a few, and the panoramic view of Dunstan Heughs is wonderful we had regular sightings of deer and a huge variety of birdlife, as well as a view of the iconic Dunstanburgh Castle in the distance NB. the walk to Craster via Dunstan Square and the Castle is worth it for the kippers and crab sandwiches alone. A big thankyou to our hosts for a wonderful family holiday.

What a wonderful property in a wonderful location. The property has everything you need for a great stay and was spotlessly clean. The beds and pillows were so comfy. Great outdoor space for our three children to play. We loved it so much we are looking to rebook for next year. The welcome basket was a lovely touch. Milk, bread, butter and cake were amongst the delights and a surprise bottle of wine in the fridge also was a lovely touch. Thank you for making our holiday one of the best holidays say our children.

A lovely holiday house, well equipped and furnished in a beautiful location. Ample parking for 2 cars, and 10 minutes walk into Craster. There are many walks from the door eg across to Dunstanburgh Castle or down to Howick Hall and back along the coast path. The owners next door were very friendly. We'd like to return some day.

We couldn't have picked a better place to spend our first Christmas away. The cottage is fabulous and we spent a very relaxed and comfortable week there. All the fixtures and fittings are of a high quality and we had no problem cooking Christmas dinner with such a well equipped kitchen. The lovely welcome basket and Christmas decorations were much appreciated. The owners are very friendly and welcoming and have certainly put a lot of time and effort into making such a lovely place to stay. We certainly hope to return.

We had a lovely time revisiting old haunts. The property was clean, the kitchen was well equiped to the extent that even had an air fryer. The woodburner was a welcome resource. Lovely quiet surroundings. Would have no hesitation in recommending.

From the property saw rabbits, deer, and a kestral. Also saw seals, dolphins, curlew, herons and lots more wildlife. Embleton beach is amazing, and would definitely return to this bungalow.

Unfortunately, due to car problems, we were only able to stay one night. However, the cottage was exactly as described an we wold have loved to have stopped there the rest of the week. Fresh, modern, clean and great location.

We were a group of four adults sharing this new build high spec house in Dunstan very near to Craster. The property was ideal for a very comfortable stay in a beautiful location with a great view from the open plan kitchenliving room. The kitchen is well equipped for cooking. This is a ideal house for anyone wanting to explore the coastal paths or to visit nearby Alnwick. Highly recommended.

This is a fantastic holiday property it has everything you can need. It's clearn and fresh and modern and clutter free! It's a great location with lots of walks direct from your frontdoor. A lovely village pub in The Cottage Inn and you can walk to Craster to The Jolly Fisherman too! A warm welcome awaits and you won't be disappointed, we will defintely be heading back!
