We had a fantastic break at White Feathers, everything you needed and more. The kitchen was better equipped than my own! It's centrally located with everything on the doorstep. I can highly recommend Leo's Thai restaurant around the corner on the main street. They also do takeaway, I've left a menu in the kitchen draw.

Another fabulous weekend break at White Feathers. As always, the house was immaculate and welcoming on arrival. We had a few very peaceful nights, enjoying the beautiful wood burner and all the property's amenitites. It is so conveniently located in the centre of Alnwick it's now our goto place for a UK weekend break to kick back and recharge the batteries. The town is charming, full of old, friendly pubs and great eateries. The market on a Saturday in the market square is worth a potter and we did a lovely 7km circular walk taking in the sights of Alnwick. We rounded off our trip with a delicious dinner at the impressive Tree House restaurant and a walk in nearby Alnmouth to enjoy the beach and sea air. I can't recommend this place enough, it's a wonderful property to enjoy some down time. The decorative touches and quality linen and towels are the icing on the cake. Thanks White Feathers, we'll be back again soon.

I had a lovely, peaceful weekend break at White Feathers, my second time staying in this beautiful house. I love the design touches in the house, from the retro storage tins, the beautiful glassware and the 60s furniture, it's all been thought through by the owner who obviously has an eye for interiors. The bed was really comfy and I had a great nights sleep both nights I was there. The house is perfectly located for all the amenities of Alnwick town with it being just a couple of minutes walk to all of the great shops, pubs, cafes and restaurants this bustling market town plays host to. I will definitely be booking again, thanks White Feathers!
Generally good, only points would be potentially trivial, the buses and HGVs have to pass directly by as the road is the main road effectively as they cant go the other way due to height of the town gate at Hotspur Tower, so take your ear plugs. No bath mat in the shower, its over the bath and is fine but the bath is very slippery. Sykes were appalling in their service prior to us going as we had to change our dates and could not get anyone there to respond to us, that was shabby but not the property owners fault. The location of the property was great.
White Feathers is the perfect place to stay while you explore Alnwick and Northumberland. It is beautifully decorated and welcoming. It had everything you could need inside and it's location was perfect for walking into Alnwick to see the Castle, Gardens and shops.
Fab property, clean comfortable above expectations. Would definitely stay there again

The property is very very comfortable and homely. Ideally located within easy reach of the town centre, shops restaurants and bars. Only thing I can think of that would improve the property is the shower, pressure not great hot and cold and had to dance around to get wet
A lot of care seems to have gone into the design of the house, partifularly the provision of umbrellas, hot water bottles, torches etc. We found the lack of water pressure meant we couldnt use the bath and you are probably not aware of a pair of scissors are not available, presumably gone missing! All in all a well thought out cottage at a reasonable price.

We had a lovely stay at White Feathers. So close to the town centre and we didnt have a problem finding parking nearby. The guest manual was very informative and useful. WiFi and TV were great. Beds were really comfortable. The kitchen was really well equipped with lovely sharp knives! All in all we had a great stay, thank you
