Just back from an amazing stay at a log cabin in Northumberland and we're already planning our return! The cabin was perfect for us and our four furry friends plenty of space to relax and enjoy the stunning surroundings. The dogs loved exploring the coastline, and we loved watching them

Beautiful setting and building, the inside deserved a bit more imagination nice local pictures on the walls,coasters on the coffee table, sensible glasses. Information regarding heating, rubbish disposal. Whilst we were there maintenance on overhead wires meant electricity was off 94. On the Thursday,which disrupted the Alarm which then was flashing inside overnight, would have appreciated Host checking all was ok.

Lovely property to stay at. Would recommend pinning on Google Maps the location as the sat nav stops at the caravan site nearby. Views are gorgeous from the back garden and very peaceful on an evening. Major facilities are good to use. Only complaints I could have are that the bed mattress is too soft and the bed frame squeaky. Felt like was falling out of bed and frame was squeaky when turning over in the night. Other than that it was a great stay and would use again. Would recommend The Village Inn pub in the village that does lovely homemade food.

This is a really lovely property set in beautiful rolling countryside. Nicely decorated, comfy beds, fully equipped kitchen. Owners very discreet. Garden was secure for our dog and having the secure field next door was a great bonus. The weather was kind to us during our stay. We visited most of the beaches along the coastline. We hope to return.

We had a wonderful week at Wansbeck! The property is well situated, spotless and very well maintained. Our children and dog loved the garden and having access to the field for walks. The scenery is breathtaking and we were spoiled with the weather. We will hopefully be back soon as this was our third visit and we wouldn't go anywhere else now!

Absolutely loved this lodge , has superb comfy beds all you need to cook, great shower the thought gone into our digs staying was great,fenced garden, field to roam in . Village us lovely even gas special fuels for dogs to roam in, shop, pubs. Granny inn delivered twice. Only thing mirror needed in twin room and a loo brush I know not nice things

This is a great property. All as described. Good shower comfortable seating and bed. Good location for dog walks and easy access to the amenities in the area whilst a lovely scenic quiet spot. We would highly recommend and will return again I am sure. Very clean and everything to hand that you need. We had a great holiday thank you.

Absolutely fantastic. Smelled beautiful and everything sparkling .. very good selection of crockery and everything you needed. only suggestion give better directions Sat nav takes you to the mobile home park at top of lane we only found it by a dog walkers help !!

Property was perfect, plenty of space, good facilities and very clean. The enclosed garden and the exercise field were perfect for our dogs. The bottle of wine was also a nice touch. We would definitely return and recommend to others, a great holiday.

This was our second visit to this lodge, it has everything we want in holiday accommodation. The envlosef meadow for the dog to play in is a bonus!

Absolutely stunning location, the views are so relaxing. The property lay out has been very well thought out. We will be back at some point for further holidays here. Just one small disappointment, the mattress was too soft for my liking. Our mattress at home is a firm one. Having said this we will still stay here again. Had an amazing week. Accommodation was excellent. Lovely and clean, beautiful safe grassed area if you have dogs or small children. Views from outside seating area are beautiful. The Kitchen has everything you need plus some. Owner was brilliant I got the key stuck in the key safe he came over straight away and got it fixed. Highly recommend this holiday let. Only one little thing and we fixed it with a towel. The bathroom window doesn't have a blind. It faces nextdoor, with light on I presume they would be able to see in?? It's was easy fix .

Beautiful lodge in amazing grounds and surroundings, perfect for families, our little yorkie loved the freedom, and a fab field to walk round right next to the cottage. Lovely fenced off garden, very secure. The lodge has everything needed for a self cater holiday, spotlessly clean. Could do wit a blind in bathroom window for privacy maybe. But its ok as glass is frosted. Shower and bathroom great. Beds very comfy too and loads of storage room. A great base to visit all surrounding areas. Amazing village amenities just a short walk to get too, pubs, bakery, corner shop, butchers. All in all a lovely quiet location, beautiful views from the lodge, we will definitely be visiting again, Thank you for a lovely stay.

This is a spacious, light and airy property with beautuful views. It is in a good location with easy access to both the countryside and the coast. For anyone with a pet it has a secure garden and dogs are allowed into many places nearby and on the beaches. We had a lovely time, despite the weather, and hope to come again next year.

What a lovely lodge! Very comfy clean and roomy. The enclosed lawned garden was great for our dog and the meadow at the side of the lodge was an added bonus for off lead fun. Beautiful views, clean air and a peaceful setting. We have already rebooked to visit this place again later in the year, which l think says it all. 10 out of 10.

We had a wonderful time and loved the property. The cottage was pretty much perfect, comfortable and clean and had everything we needed. The position was great with stunning views out of the front and only a short walk in to the village for supplies and the pub. The only thing was we found the mattress in the master bed too soft for us, but we would definitely recommend.

A relaxing week at this lodge in a peaceful country setting. The lodge was warm and the beds were very comfortable. Our dog loved the enclosed garden and met new friends on his walk down the lane. The lodge was very clean and we had everything we needed. We hope to come back here in the future.

We have been here for a week and i can honestly say the best we have stopped in ,so spacious and everything you need ,washer dryer , dishwasher , secure garden for dogs in certain cabins ,there was a lovely bottle of wine as a welcome ,,, and the views are stunning . ... this place is so quiet we came to avoid the fireworks with the dogs and it was silent ..... We will definitely return to this place ..

Spotless inside and out windows cleaned and walkways pressure washed so they weren't slippery wellmaintained site. Perhaps a flash mop as dogs sometimes have an accident.

This is a fantastic property. Cosy, comfortable and a great base for exploring Northumberland, which we certainly did! There is a wonderful village cafe cum food shop. I must have put on a stone in our time there! A bonus for our dogs was the enclosed garden and a paddock at the side. We were also lucky to have half decent weather for our weeks stay which helped. In fact we have booked again for later in 2024. No better recommendation!

Stayed here for the second time was lovely and clean, it didn't disappoint just a lovely peaceful place.

Fabulous property, lovely and clean, with the best enclosed garden for our two dogs that we have ever had. Lovely and peaceful with amazing views, sunsets and sunrises. Ideal base for exploring Northumberland. We would thoroughly recommend staying here, and the welcome bottle of wine was very much appreciated. Thank you.

This is not negative feedback, but just our opinion the two chairs for us were not the most comfortable to relax on. The shower screen doors need a little TLC as they were difficult to open and close and came off the runners a few times. But apart from those minor issues a great lodge and first class holiday. The private field next to the lodge was a bonus to walk the dog, she loved it. Thank you to the owners and Sykes.

Lovely week away with our 2 grandsons and our dog. Lodge had everything needed good enclosed garden area, parking for the car etc. We love Longframlington such a friendly little village with a lovely play park, a welcoming village inn who do great food and a butcher and little shop to keep you going until you can get to Morpeth for bigger shops. This was our 2nd visit and we werent disappointed.

Once again had a great week in Wansbeck. Great location, excellent lodge with everything we needed, stunning views and very dog friendly, enclosed garden and use of a secure field to walk the dog as well. Couldn't ask for more, only better weather.

We had a lovely stay. The accommodation was as advertised and very nice. The site farm was a very nice setting, with lovely views and was very quiet and rural. It was also close enough to the local village to walk to the local stores and pub if needed. Also well positioned to reach many of the local places of interest such as Hadrian's wall, Holy island and Bamburgh Castle etc.

Had a fabulous stay, and hopefully will return next year sometime. The chalet was very comfortable, everything you could wish for! The view was lovely and great to be able to sit outside admiring the scenery!

Had a great time in your cabin, the only fault I would say was, give a choice of duvet. The one on the bed was far too thick. A small point the guttering joint by the door is leaking.
