Kathleen
Enjoyed our stay.
We have stayed at this fabulous cottage many times over the years and can absolutely recommend it. Tom, the owner is a lovely host and we look forward to going back very soon.
Angela
Fabulous cottage with an incredible view. Perfect as a base to explore the beautiful area or to relax.
More than happy with our accommodation at South Cottage. It was clean, spacious and comfortable. The bungalow is in the middle of a row of 3 and situated on a working farm. It overlooks the coastal path and we were able to see the sun rise from our bedroom. Walking is good on the coastal path, either north to Craster or south to Boulmer.
Thomas
The property was much more than advertised, it was clean, comfortable & has everything you need for your stay. The location was great & the views absolutely wonderful
Stephen
Loved the peace and quiet of the cottage setting. Short walk to isolated beaches. Coastal path on your doorstep, but not literally. Wouldn't want to recommend it too much as we'd like to keep it a secret. Host was helpful and nothing was too much trouble. Night skies were amazing. Lack of light pollution meant that we were able to see thousands of stars that aren't visible at home. Best pub was just down the road, The Cottage inn. Lots of locals, as well as visitors. Just the way we like it.
Tom was helpfull and dealt with a slight problem immediately. Would love to come back soon. Wonderfull place to relax.
We had such a lovely week, a real home from home. Beautiful, scenic, peaceful location, teaming with wildlife wherever you pointed your eyes or ears. Everything you could want is supplied from an amenities point of view, only missing a pizza cutter. Great views from the windows and terrace, walks on your doorstep, super days out nearby and great pubs very close for food and drink. I can't eulogize enough about the cottage or location.
A stunning setting with the fabulous sea views and the wonderful cattle in the farmyard. The host coudn't be more helpful and welcoming. The cottage is well equipped and comfortable. In spite of the cold weather this April we were warm and cosy. The location was brilliant for walks in all directions. Would recomend this lovely place.
Patricia
Such a great location and the enclosed garden a real bonus when Collie Jim needed a moment to let off steam between all the lovely walks. This is just a great place to stay whatever the weather though was lucky with good visibility all week. One comment boot rack good but a tray underneath or next to would be an idea I forgot to take old newspapers!
Kathleen

This is our second visit to this property that is perfect for us. The cottage is cosy, comfortable and well equipped and the sea views are breathtaking. The fact that it is situated on a working farm is an added bonus.
Our party of 3 had a wonderful stay in South cottage. Very clean, very well equipped and really comfortable. We enjoyed seeing the cows in the farmyard and local fields. Lots of lovely walks nearby and the gardens at the nearby Howick Hall were so lovely in the autumn sunshine. Many thanks to Marjorie and Tom, we loved our stay.

A cosy holiday cottage on the costal path near Howick. Located on a farm a very enjoyable and friendly week. Would stay again.
Love the improvements made to cottage since last time we visited two years ago especially with the patio doors to garden. Lovely cottage in great location. Separate fencing between the gardens will make it perfect. Ideal dog friendly holiday.
The property is in a fantastic position with stunning views and very convenient for exploring the Northumberland coast. The property is a good size and very comfortable. The owners are both very friendly.
