You are in the perfect location to take a driving tour or bus ride to discover the gorgeous scenery of the Lake District but why not leave the car on the drive and explore the beautiful countryside on foot. From your front door, you have a choice of many wonderful trails whether a low-level circular route or an adventurous hike up to the high fells to encounter grassy mountains, ageless tarns and superb views to the lakes and valleys below.
