Lovely accommodation. Fantastic views towards the sea. The space of the property itself is well thought out without feeling cramped. Everything you need is provided for. Walking straight down the quiet road and within a few minutes you're on the fabulous beach. Lots of fantastic beach walks on your doorstep! Embleton itself is a lovely quiet friendly village with a good healthy balance of tourists and residents. I didn't want to come home! The owners are very friendly. We hope to visit again!

We loved our stay. The accommodation was ideal for the two of us. Smart, spacious and comfortable. All we needed and more. The location was wonderful. The upside layout meant we had marvellous views of the coast from the sofa. The village has many choices to eat and a great village shop. All walkable from accommodation. Cannot recommend this enough.

Fabulous location just 8 minutes to beach. Whilst a small living space the huge picture windows make it feel much larger & view is stunning. Enjoyed it very much

We had the most wonderful week in this beautiful cottage. The location is stunning. You could simply never tire of the beautiful views from the amazing balcony. The cottage is so well thought out and equipped. The bed was particularly comfortable. All in all, I couldnt recommend Emblestones more highly. Were already booked for next year!

Another lovely stay at Emblestones our happy place. Beautiful views and even better this time of year with the morning sun on the balcony for coffee and breakfast. Weve left a detailed review from when we stayed in Feb 24 but to just to reiterate how lovely and cosy this place is and how much me my husband and our two dogs love it! Fantastic cottage with great facilities. Very comfy bed and great view when relaxing in the lounge. Lovely walks from the door and plenty of places around to visit. This was our 2nd stay here.

If you like amazing sea views whilst sitting on a comfy sofa after sleeping on a very comfortable bed then you will like Emblestones. The stay is light bright and comfortable the kichen area is very well kitted out with everything you might need. I look forward to coming again with better weather and sitting on the balcony!

The bed and pillows were VERY comfortable. The property had been cleaned to a very high standard. There were lots of TV options as there was a Sky box. My dog was very happy as there was a dog bed provided for him in an alcove in the bedroom. There were also fleeces available as my dog is used to going on the furniture at home. Lovely sea views from upstairs. There was only one thing missing and it could just have been that I didnt spot it but I couldnt find a shaver point for my electric razor.

Just arrived back after a 7 night stay at emblestones! We absolutely love this place, having spotted it last year on the way back from the beach to our other holiday cottagestay we said how much we would love to stay here and my goodness it did not disappoint! The views from this property are absolutely first class! We are early risers and were in awe of the beautiful views and sunrises you can see at this time of year from the property. Its quirky upside down design means you can make the most of the view throughout the day The property itself was exceptionally clean and modern in its design and the owners have thought of everything you would need. Despite being compact there is plenty of storage space also. The pictures on the website doesnt do the size of the bedroom and justice as its a lot bigger than it looks and the dog bedarea is just lovely. As doggy lovers its apparent that the owners of the property are too which always helps to set us at ease for our stay the little yard is useful for our dogs to go to the toilet, we were a little nervous that there may not have been a secure area for them to go out but this area is enclosed and safe which is great. On arrival, I was having difficulties with the key safe and Justin the owner came out to help which was really nice, he was really welcoming which was great. We loved the area having visited before, my husband loves to play golf, for which this is an ideal spot and we love to walk so the coastal routes to craster, lower Newton by the sea and beadnell were ideal for us getting the bus back to the village one day as the dogs were a bit tired!! Overall we had the most amazing stay and cannot wait to visit again next year!! Only observations in terms of feedback and potential improvements is, it would have been good to be able to park on the drive in front of the house, particularly on day 1 when having to unpack the car etc as the owners had a camper parked. There wasnt a parking issue as such as we could park in front of main house, just a thoughtfeedback. Also hot water a little temperamental and didnt seem to last very longstay hot long for showers etc. possibly user error but may be worth looking at. Perfect for our break, great location, home from home

Wow, what a great find! Emblestones is so comfortable, we slept so well, the interior of the apartment is tasteful and spotless . Fabulous views whilst having a morning coffee, close to the beach and a great central place to explore Northumberland. We will be back.

Lovely week at Emblestones. Just a couple of things, the loft hatch which has a heavy ladder attached came down and we had to phone the owner who was away, so had to get it back up ourselves only for it to come down again in the middle of our last night. The owners were aware saying it was on their to do list and if it had hit one of us on the head it could have caused injury. The balcony was lovely to sit out on except for the smell from the neighbouring properties boiler fumes, which was sometimes constant so had to shut the door. During our stay the drive up to the property had 3 large vehicles making it difficult getting to the front door with our luggage, although this isnt the owners fault it should specify where it says ample parking this is one space in front of the neighbouring property.

Great stay . Loved the property and the view. We found it odd that there was no bathroom lock on the door.

This property excelled our expectations. It was immaculate, well laid out and very comfortable. The location was great with views over the bay and in a lovely village with everything you required. One big bonus was Sky Sports, my husband didnt miss his match. Will definitely return.

We have just come back from an amazing week at Emblestones It was a wonderful week away The owners Bridget and Justin were really friendly and helpful giving us tips on places to visit The property was beautifully decorated and spotless Very well designed with everything we needed The king size bed was gorgeous and extremely comfortable We slept like logs every night Emblestones was an excellent location to explore this beautiful part of Northumberland Only a short walk to the lovely sandy beach which was enjoyed daily by our Golden Retriever Hadleigh along with paddle! We can highly recommend Emblestones and we will most definitely be coming back Penny and Carl

We had a wonderful stay at Emblestones. The accommodation is perfect well designed and fitted to a high standard, very cosy and with a fabulous panoramic sea view. It's in a great location for walks along Embleton Bay to The Ship at Low Newton and to Craster.

This is an outstanding property with all the facilities for an extremely comfortable stay. . The upside down layout is brilliant for making the most of the outstanding views from the living room. The property is ideally placed as a base for walking the coastal path with a bus stop only 250 years away to catch the coastal bus to extend the range for taking linear rather than circular walks and if you want to explore further within 45 minutes of Lindisfarne to the north and half an hour from Amble in the south. A perfect base.

A warm and comfortable holiday cottage with stunning views over the coastline. Lovely comfy bed with quality bedding. Tastefully furnished to a high standard. The location is perfect with a short walk down to the beach and wonderful walks along the sand and sand dunes to seaside villages. Highly recommend.
