Craster Tower Coach House Reviews

Alison
The coach house was a fantastic property for 6 adults and a collie dog to celebrate Hogmanay! Plenty of room for all of us and a bathroom for each couple! The roaring fire was essential especially when the heating failed but Victoria and Adam the boiled man were stars and swiftly got it fixed for us
Edward
A lovely warm welcome and extremely spacious accommodation with lots of outdoor and indoor activities. Sea view if the weather allows!
Vivien
We all loved the property, especially the space it provided , and in such an ideal place for a walk down into Craster. It was great for the 3 boys who were kept fully occupied with the games room , and definitely a thumbs up for the football net on the garden . The kitchen was fully equipped and another thumbs up for the Utility room. You can't beat Northumberland for a good holiday. Viv Nottinghamshire.
Maggie
What a fantastic property! Its in an ideal location with access to a walled garden and a walk across fields to Craster. Comfortable beds, sofas and loads of living space. Well equipped kitchen. A warm welcome from the owners who will fill you in with the history of this quirky house.
Amazing location and very warm and helpful contact with owner Victoria. Thank you.
A really quirky holiday let with many of the old stable and coach house features left in place.
Quite often I am disappointed by a holiday as it does not look as good as the pictures. In the case of the Tower Coach House this is the opposite its just plain better. Be it the beautiful walled garden, which we couldn't believe was all ours to enjoy, to the vastness of the rooms or the feeling of being at home from the getgo it was all there. We will definitely be going back !! P.s. Thanks Victoria for answering my silly questions and helping make this a special break.
Caroline
The property was beautiful, steeped in history. As with any old building it had its quirks. The walled garden was lovely, a fantastic sun trap. We had everything we needed for a brilliant holiday.
The Coach House is idyllic! We had a wonderful stay. Victoria was so welcoming and gave us some great recommendations for visits and where to eat. The property is incredibly well equipped, is very comfortable and full of character! Situated in beautiful countryside, a short walk from the village with harbourpub and a short drive from stunning Northumberland beaches, we would love to come back.
Victoria was a fantastic host, we loved this property and the area. The most stunning coastline and so much still to explore and see. Will definitely go back.
Caroline
A delightful place to stay with children, safe with plenty of green space to play in. A comfortable, spacious, well equipped house and very welcoming property owner.
Stephen
Very spacious property in a great location 10 minutes walk to Craster village and access to the coastal path and stunning beaches. Victoria was extremely helpful giving us a full briefing of the area and amenities which added real value as we probably would not have taken advantage of many of them otherwise. Property was very well equipped in terms of kitchen equipment and made for a very comfortable and enjoyable stay.
Lovely comfortable cottage in beautiful location.

Craster tower coach house is a really special holiday let. We just spent a lovely Christmas there. Victoria and Henry are perfect hosts. The location is ideal a few minutes walk from Craster harbour and The Jolly Fisherman. Lovely costal walks to The Ship Inn in Low Newton and out towards Rumbling Kern and Horwick hall. Would highly recommend.
The Coach House exceeded our expectations. It was beautifully furnished and very well equipped with everything we could possibly need to make our stay comfortable. The Coach House is set in beautiful surroundings with access to its own garden and close to Craster and the coastal path for great walks and breathtaking scenery. Victoria was extremely helpful with pre arrival instructions and was very welcoming on our arrival and during our stay, making sure that we had everything we needed. I would highly recommend a stay at The Craster Tower Coach House.

Lovely family holiday, fabulous accommodation and very homely. Loved its quirkiness. Private garden a real bonus, great for the dog. Victoria, our host made us feel very welcome. Looking forward to visiting again in the summer months.
Not the first time we have stayed here, and always been made very welcome. A great place to be!

Craster Tower is a beautiful house, wonderful location and Victoria was the most welcoming of hosts. Its a huge property with a stunning walled garden, tennis courts and sea views. We had the best time here, our kids loved the space, the gardens, the trampoline and the fabulous cafe just outside. We cant wait to come again.
We absolutely loved our stay at Craster coach house. The property is beautiful, clean and everything we needed was there. Victoria was amazing, thoughtful and really knowledgeable about the local area with lots of hints and tips. My children loved the garden with the trampoline, the tennis courts and the football net. The property is in an amazing location for exploring the beautiful area. We will be booking again. Thank you
Beautiful, characterful property in a great location. Well equipped property and lovely enclosed garden Would highly recommend for a family holiday BUT needs a deep clean and repairs to the bathrooms The owner warned us that the baths leaked so I would ask why this has not been remedied? All bathrooms lacked attention to cleanliness and the wet room showerhead was so filthy we would not use it. Bath mats were black with mould and pine bed slats were full of dust and hair..

Fabulous base for exploring the beautiful surrounding area. Very warm welcome from the owners and the coach house itself is comfortable, spacious, wellequipped and homely. It is a short walk into Craster and onto the coastal path. Alnwick is a 10 minute car drive away with great local shops and supermarkets. Would thoroughly recommend this lovely holiday home. Great tips and advice about local cafes and pubs from the owners too thank you.
Catherine

This was an amazing place to stay. The owner was extremely welcoming and very understanding of a travel problem that meant we had to make some changes to the key collection and access to the property. The property was ideal for quiet and relaxation with stunning countryside and excellent local resources. We would definitely go back again. Seriously, people should not miss this property as it is a gem!
Had a lovely week, in a lovely house, in a lovely part of the country with a lovely host. Couldn't ask for more.
Lovely cosy property to explore the area with wonderful helpful hosts.
Thank you to Victoria for welcoming us and making our stay pleasurable. Our family party of five adults had a fantastic time at Craster Tower Coach House. The accommodation was spacious and we enjoyed the luxury of having three ensuite bathrooms. The private garden looked lovely but sadly in March we couldn't take advantage of it. The location was good for walking and visiting attractions and the local pubrestaurant, The Jolly Fisherman Inn is a short walk.
Andrea
