Breamish Reviews

This is a lovely, comfortable and cosy place to stay, generally well equipped, and handy for many attractions this beautiful area has to offer. On arriving, the property is warm and bright and we found it super clean, spacious and inviting. There's a lovely gas fire for colder evenings, but the house is super warm and the weather was generally mild during our stay, so we kept turning down the thermostats in the house. It's a quiet location, the road out the front gets a little crazy early in the morning as everyone goes off to work, so I put my little dog on her lead when putting her in our car as folks drive too fast! That said, there's loads of off road parking right outside the door, so if your dog is trustworthy, there's no problem. The trains did not disturb us, the house is triple glazed, so we quite enjoyed hearing them go by. You'll find most of what you need, a washing machine and an airer, clothes line outside if you want it, and most of what you might need in the kitchen. The wonderful beaches are just a mile or so away across the fields, the walk to Embleton is perfect for a stroll with the dog and you can walk to Craster if you fancy some kippers for your tea!

This property is stunning. It has everything you could wish for and more. We had a welcome tray with tea coffee and biscuits and milk in the fridge, which we appreciated. Very clean, and comfortable with a lovely enclosed garden. There's information of places to visit and telephone numbers in case of an emergency....Only a short drive to numerous beaches... Fabulous.

The property exceeded our expectations. Breamish was immaculately clean and so light and airy. It was so well equipped with everything you could possibly need. The addition of the sunny garden was brilliant for our dogs. The location is ideal for accessing local coastal towns. Can't recommend highly enough and already planning a return visit.

Breamish is a stunning house in a beautiful location. Everything you could possibly need is there, a fully stocked kitchen with plenty of crockery, glassware and utensils. The house and garden were spotlessly clean and it was very relaxing letting the breeze glow through the bifold doors. Great views from the front of the property over rolling farmland and I particularly loved it when the cows moved in! Lots of places to visit within a 10 mile radius, deserted beaches, pretty villages and extremely friendly people in very dog friendly pubs!

A lovely property in a good location. Lots of beautiful beaches nearby for dog walks. Plenty of places of interest to visit nearby and lots of choice for eating out. The decor was fabulous and everything was of a very high quality. The cottage was very clean and wellequipped. A super place to stay!
Weve just had a fantastic week at Breamish. What a lovely cottage. Everything was of the highest quality. Its in a quiet location with open fields to the front and totally enclosed back garden perfect for our dog Poppy. We got a lovely warm welcome with the heating on perfect for the weather and a tray full of goodies!!! The location of the beaches are only a 5 minute drive away with Embleton being our favourite. We cannot recommend the cottage highly enough 1010 and will return on our next visit to Northumberland.
