Quite basic and smaller than expected. The strangest heating system ever motion sensors mean the heating only comes on if it detects movement so you have to walk round the lounge every half hour to keep the heating on. It also means the place is freezing cold in a morning until you get up! Everywhere was verry clean however.

Lovely week. Accommodation was very comfortable. Pool was fab and well managed. As a parent arriving on my own with two kids, I can't describe how welcome the welcome pack was! Thank you

This was a fabulous stay . Everything was top class . Loved the hot tub at the ripe age of 70 we are converted . I love swimming so we had everything we wanted . We have been coming to this same area for 30 years and this was our best stay ever . The weather was amazing I could go on and on our only worry is that if we raved about it too much about it we will never get an apartment again !!! Well done hosts x

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The cottage was well equipped and exceeded our expectations. I did try using the EV charger, but unfortunately couldn't get it to connect with my car. No issue though as I found chargers near M&S in Alnwick.

Excellent communication from hosts and exceptionally well presented cottage. The provision of local supplies in the welcome pack were much appreciated on our arrival. Very warm and cosy and really comfortable beds, great shower, kitchen very well equipped, we all enjoyed the pool and hot tub and log fire, scrupulously clean. Relaxing quiet and scenic setting leaving us truly refreshed after a weeks stay. We will definately be staying again soon.

Our first visit to the Northumberland coast and what a beautiful place. The Bothy was excellent in every way & perfectly situated for exploring this stunning coast. The mown pathways to the beach and to the village were a real bonus, especially as my husband is disabled and uses a mobility scooter which easily managed the route to the village and the pillbox and picnic area, half way to the beach. The onsite team were friendly and helpful too and provided a shower chair for my husband which came in handy for him whilst using the wash hand basin too. The indoor pool was perfect, although my son and I only managed one swim as our schedule was pretty packed! We're sorry we didn't get to try out the hot tub, again partly due to our busy schedule and the chilly wind blowing across! We will most certainly come again and would recommend it to anyone wanting a peaceful spot in a clean, well equipped and comfy cottage with far reaching seascape views. The only thing that could be improved, and we are being picky here, is more coat hangers and a couple of small side tables by the second settee to put our drinks on. Otherwise perfect Thank you!

Exceptional cottage. Lovely and clean with everything you could need. Just one tiny thing there was no tin opener and I would suggest a long mirror in one of the rooms near a plug as there is no way you can dry your hair and look in the mirror! But overall exceptional 100 we would stay again
