2A Front Street is a well equipped holiday cottage situated in a really delightful village with enough amenities to ensure your stay is trouble free. The property has been designed with a lot of thought and care with some lovely locally themed items decorating it. The property is comfortable throughout with a great efficient heating system for those cooler times of year. Parking to the rear is handy and easy to navigate. Location wise is ideal for those able to walk down to Embleton Beach and then beyond as is your want, we visited the Greys Inn, Dunstanburgh Castle Hotel, Village Shop and were impressed with everything on offer. I can assure readers of this review we will be back !
Thank you for an absolutely wonderful stay. This cottage had everything we could wish for and more. As we were there over Christmas we particularly appreciated the festive decor and thoughtful welcome basket touches. We enjoyed cosy fires, family meals produced in the well stocked kitchen, board games in the spacious living room and comfortable nights in the lovely, quiet bedrooms. Not to mention spectacular walks and a delightful village setting. All around fabulous.
This is a lovely cottage . The place was clean and warm on arrival. It has all the equipment you might need for a perfect stay. We stayed when the weather was snowy and cold but it was great to be able to return to a warm house with the added bonus of being able to light a fire. It is in a great location for accessing the beach and local pubs. Having a parking space at the rear is good. We would love to return!

We were impressed with 2a Front Street. The house was comfortable and well equipped. The location gave easy access to walks from Embleton. We also appreciated being able to walk to two places to eat where the food and service were good if not outstanding.

Great stay thanks
2A was a delightful base from which to embrace all the joys of a holiday in Northumberland. We have visited Embleton over many years and always loved it but this was by far the best place we have stayed in. The only thing I would add to improve it is decent facilities to dry wet walking gear. There is no airing cupboard or drying room and it can therefore take ages for wet clothes to dry. Otherwise, a perfect experience.

This is a beautiful property, the location is perfect for access to all the gorgeous beaches. We loved staying at 2A, the owners have thought of everything, that includes all the finishing touches and attention to detail. We would definitely stay again if the property is available.
We thoroughly enjoyed our time at 2A Front Street. The cottage was beautifully presented, it had everything needed and was spotlessly clean. Wed definitely recommend it and hope to return in the future.

The property was beautiful very clean and comfortable, a minor issue with the heating system was dealt with promptly by both the owner and Sykes NCCC. The property felt like a real home with everything you could need to make the stay there enjoyable without feeling too cluttered. Embleton is a lovely village with great walks and places to eat on the doorstep, plus ideally situated for exploring the area by car. Would definitely return.

Beautiful cottage, extremely well equipped and comfortable. The owners have paid such attention to detail. Everything has been provided down to a salad spinner! Perhaps an extra tea towel and cleaning cloths. Embleton is a lovely village ideally situated to explore the beautiful northumbrian coast in both directions. The village shop opposite the cottage is a delight.

A beautiful cottage, well designed and decorated to a very high standard and containing everything you need. Location is excellent only a short walk to the beach and with a fabulous farm shop opposite selling delicious local produce. There are a couple of pubs in the village so you don't need to drive anywhere if you don't want, and can explore the local beaches on foot. Loved our stay here and would definitely book again.
